Friendly hotel staff, strategic and comfortable location

The room space is quite small. I booked two rooms side by side, and one of the rooms, the TV cannot be turned on. I called the hotel staff, and he said there was no signal due to the weather, but the next door room's TV is okay. If it was because of the weather, all rooms should be affected, right? No fridge too and limited parking space.

The staff are all friendly, you can borrow scales, you can leave your luggage, the rooms are clean, the location is good and the prices are also affordable.

The hotel staff and security were very friendly and responsive. The hotel is close to Komtar, Georgetown's central bus terminal. It was a great four-night stay at Kimberly. If I ever go to Penang, I'll definitely stay here.

We stayed in a Standard King room. The room was slightly dark, but perfectly sufficient for a short stay as we only needed a place to sleep. What truly stood out was the security staff managing the driveway. He was incredibly attentive and professional—always quick to assist with our heavy luggage, greeting us warmly every time we passed by, and immediately helping when our Grab arrived. The front desk staff were also friendly and welcoming. Overall, we felt well taken care of.

Close to various food locations

First of all, all staff were great, nice, and helpful. From the front desk, the security, and the cleaning staff, are all nice and helpful. The location was prime, near the famous street food market and near the bus terminal and big supermarket. Everything that you need is within walking distance. The bathroom was small but looks new, clean, and sparkly, with no funny odor and no mold. The bedroom, although the linen was clean, was small, the pillow was a bit hard, and the paint on the wall needs repainting because there was mold here and there and a lot of stains. The elevator only has one, and it was damp, and people's odor was lingering. I have a sensitive nose, so it's quite disturbing.

Close to the city center, the room was a little small but very comfortable. Even though we checked out the next day, we were still allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel.

The location is superb! Room condition is nice. There's a smart TV where you can log in to your Netflix account. They allowed us to leave our luggage after checking out and before catching our flight. Overall 10/10 experience, I'll for sure stay here again if I come back to Penang!

Highly recommended, close to Armenian Street, Kimberley Market, Town Hall, halal food, George Iconic Building, etc.

If you plan for a medical trip at Island Hospital, this is the best option.

A very old hotel, acceptable for a short stay. The location is convenient as well.

It's conveniently located near the KOMTAR Transportation Center and the halal Food Street. It's also close to the heritage site.
