The hotel staff were very kind, although some of them may still need additional training. However, the female staff were especially excellent; they were very friendly and genuinely helpful with my needs (I am also a woman myself).
I highly recommend this hotel because the rooms are comfortable and spacious. As someone who travels for work, I really appreciated the desk and chair setup, which was perfect for continuing my work comfortably. They even use proper office chairs with adjustable armrests, which made a big difference.
The only downside is the parking area. My driver often had difficulty picking me up because the queue could get quite long. Some of the male staff I encountered at Batiqa also seemed to lack proper training, especially with unnecessary questions and slow responses.
The restaurant staff also need better menu knowledge training. They did not seem to know which menu items were available or even the ingredients used in the dishes, which was a bit disappointing. In addition, the restaurant frequently called the room to offer food, which became slightly disturbing.
However, aside from those points, everything else was very good. The cleanliness, comfort, and room lighting at Batiqa were much better compared to several other hotels in Bandar Lampung. I’m satisfied :)
