The room key must be reset repeatedly. In extreme cases, the key cannot be used. A long wait is required.

Services is good from staff in front. There is a shuttle from the hotel to the hospital. Cleanliness needs to be improved, especially in the bathroom. Breakfast had enough variety, but the taste needs to be improved a lot, even the coffee machine, only a bit of coffee taste.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got a free upgrade to a larger room. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to malls and hospitals.

The first night I arrived here at 4 PM, they gave me a room on the 4th floor, and the AC is not cool even using the coolest setting until 7 PM (like more than 25c degrees). I know they have a cooler AC from my stay before, but they look like reluctantly giving a room with a cooler AC to me, and I am sick just getting back from hospital treatment now and need a cooler room. They check the temperature with a temperature check tool by shooting inside the AC, they said inside the AC is 15c, I said who cares inside the AC? I need 15c in the room not inside the AC. After I denied several times it is still more than 25c, they offer me to move to a room on the 5th floor. After 15-30 minutes the AC is still not cool, and I complain again, and they check the AC with the same stupid tool that shows inside AC only is 15c, but the room is more than 25c. I complain again, finally, they offered me a room at 10th floor, we tested it and waited in the room for 30 minutes, and this one is cool less than 20c degrees. I settle down in this 10th floor room like at 11 PM, so it takes several hours just to move to the cooler room, and I am sick too from hospital, can you imagine how tired I am? Other service is good, you can take away the breakfast to eat in your room, internet is fast enough. Just remember to bring a temperature check tools, to check the AC temperature in the room (not inside AC) if you can't stand hot AC to make the complain faster.

I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights but had to pay an additional MYR 78 for tax at the receptionist. Late check-in was smooth, AC and TV functioned properly, but the bathroom floors need a repair/polish. Wellings Pharmacy is next to the hotel.

Pro 1. Good breakfast 2. Location 3. The staff Cons 1. The hygiene. Roaches were happily roaming around in the bathroom. Not acceptable at all 2. The newly painted smell is so annoying and strong 3. The hot shower is non-existent here... What a turn off

Our favorite hotel since we first arrived in Penang. It's right next to Gleneagles Hospital, making it easy to get checked in. It's close to a pharmacy, minimarket, and Starbucks. It's also easy to find food; there's a delicious and well-known Chinese restaurant right in front of the hotel. If you're looking for something local, there's delicious and affordable nasi kandar and several other dishes behind the hotel. Getting around is also easy; there's a bus stop in front of the hospital. If you want to exercise, just cross the street to Gurney Bay and you can even walk to the mall as it's close by. Highly recommended!

The room is spacious; however, my room had a drainage issue in the shower area. Although the team attempted to fix it, the solution only lasted for one night. On a positive note, the concierge (Faizal) was very friendly and extremely helpful throughout my stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights for treatment from a hospital located not far from the hotel. On the 2nd day, I had an incident in the restaurant for breakfast, in front of the salad bar there was a puddle of water and I slipped there and had to be rushed to the hospital, but instead of getting good treatment from the hotel management, I was told it was my own fault by the management, so the hospital costs I incurred were borne by myself and they would not reimburse me. So, be careful when staying at this hotel there is no protection for hotel guests (foreign guests) because they do not care about your safety, until I filed a police report there, and they still insisted there was no good faith from the hotel. So, be wiser before choosing a hotel especially when we want to seek treatment abroad, ask first for our safety.

Too noisy, even in the midnight. We were able to hear people coming back from outside, so we couldn’t sleep well.
