First time staying here and will definitely come back again. We took a family room and upon check-in, we were upgraded to a family room with a balcony. We got a welcome drink and afternoon snack (it was wonderful). The room was comfortable, warm & clean ♥️. The gong is the location opposite Bubur Dibawah Pohon Rindang (in the morning, breakfast is just a walk there). Thank you for wonderful hospitality Selaras Guesthouse ♥️

If I ever go back to Bandung, I'll definitely stay here again. It's close to everything, the rooms are spacious, and the price is affordable. The staff is also friendly.

Last-minute booking on Monday, I got a price of around 500 rupiah, including tax, and chose a lower-level room. From the outside, it looked beautiful. When I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a creaky, broken chair/sofa (I don't know if it was intentional). The receptionist greeted me and asked if I wanted a cold or hot welcome drink. She was very friendly, but what surprised me about this hotel was: There were two beds (a queen-size bed measuring 160x200 and a single-size bed measuring 100x200). I thought the room was for a family (father, mother, and one child). Here, an 11-year-old child was charged 100,000 rupiah. Also, why display the single bed if only two people could sleep in it? A queen-size bed would also work. This guesthouse's concept is exactly the same as the Suryakencana Boutique Guesthouse in Dago, only simpler. Upon arrival, I received a welcome letter and chocolates, which was nice, as if receiving chocolates felt special. The only downside was the dim yellow lighting. I suggest replacing the lights with white ones. There's already a yellow light under the table. It makes the room feel gloomy, and the cream walls make it feel even smaller. I was given two pillows, but they're all limp. The sofa outside the room is full of holes. Hopefully, things will improve in the future. With a nine-point rating, I hope it can improve.

From the booking process via WhatsApp and throughout the stay, the staff were professional, helpful, and very informative without being overly friendly. The guest house itself is charming and homey, with an old colonial feel. It’s clean, the rooms are spacious and airy, and the room service has a good variety of tasty, reasonably priced options. The location is also excellent—right across from a park and close to great food and shopping, so it was easy to get around even during a packed long weekend. My only suggestions: the sofas in the room and lobby could really use refurbishment, and the soundproofing could be better—the music from the restaurant next door was quite loud in the evening. Otherwise, all good. I’d definitely come back. I’m even thinking it could be a lovely venue for an intimate wedding lol.

⭐ Security and privacy are very disappointing. I was very disappointed with my experience staying at this hotel, especially regarding the privacy and security of the bathroom. In the morning, while my sister was taking a shower, we initially thought someone was cleaning the windows with a stick because the upper window of the bathroom was open. However, while my parents were showering, they saw a head and eyes coming from the window. My parents immediately screamed and immediately reported it to the hotel staff. What was very disappointing was that the hotel's explanation was unreasonable and did not provide a sense of security. The hotel should have ensured that the bathroom area was completely safe and that guest privacy was maintained. For us, this is not just a matter of comfort, but also concerns guest privacy and safety. We hope the hotel will be more serious in handling incidents like this and will inspect the window area and CCTV to prevent similar incidents from happening to other guests. I hope the hotel will take responsibility and provide a clear explanation regarding this incident.

Small family hotel in a fabulous location - walking distance to parks, restaurants, traditional market, shops, and massage. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean with a sofa to sit on inside and a seat with a table outside under my porch. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with all rooms looking out onto the garden area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed one night in a four-person room (the room at the very end), if I'm not mistaken, room number 6. While we were chatting, suddenly at 11:30 PM there was a knock on our door. It was truly unethical. I've discussed it with the chairman.

Clean hotel, spacious rooms, close to culinary spots, just a short walk away. Fast Wi-Fi. Each room was given 3 chocolates and a welcome drink. In the afternoon, they said there would be free tea and snacks, but I've been waiting for them but they never came 😅. Overall, I'm satisfied, although the appearance isn't as modern as the hotel building, and there are often weddings and similar events, so it's a bit awkward to pass through the group when entering and exiting the hotel.

The staff is friendly. The service is good. The hotel is like a revitalized Dutch House so it really has a vintage feel. The surrounding environment is cool, typical of Bandung city streets. The rooms are nice, spacious, clean, fragrant (even the shampoo soap smells really good). Suitable for a group because it can accommodate three or four people (this is very rare). You can also borrow an iron. This hotel is very close to Bubur DPR, just a short walk across, near MakJajanan, near Tjilaki, basically close to Bandung's viral snacks!! The price is also affordable. Book about a month before staying, get a price of 400k for 3 people. Imagine, 1 person only around 150k with that many benefits?? Who wouldn't want to. Come stay here. Very satisfied and worth it ❤️
