Hi, Gerard from Singapore
First of all thanks so much for your staying
Amd I want to make two things clear.
1. Price
You stayed 1 night at 10th May 2025. 12th May was Waisak. You visited during the peak season of the year.
You stayed at Premium bungalow(-room size 52 m2). In case of normal season, room price is Rp 1,200,000 for Saturday. But You stayed 2 days before the Waisak. Room price was just Rp 1,350,000.
I think it was a very reasonable price considering the peak season. So comparing the price with Yogyakarta is not fair.
Next year, We plan to raise our prices a bit more during the Waisak season like other hotels in Borobudur.
2. Mosques & Local culture
In the case of local Javanese villages, there are so many mosques at everywhere. Manybe You can meet the mosque every 100 meters(-within walking distance). This is for the convenience of the residents in local village.
Fortunately, there are few houses around my place, so the nearest mosque is 210m away, the next mosques 350m away and the next temple is 450m away. You can check all through the Google map by yourself.
In Borobudur, the places that are free from the mosques's prayer sounds are the Amanjwo resort or Plataran Resort, which owns several hectares of land.
*We provide disposable earplugs in your room.
Thanks
Warm regards
Bobby
