I booked it last minute and the guy woke up and gave me a room even though he didn’t have all the information. It’s a little bit awkward to get to, but it’s a spectacular property and the people are super nice.

A most wonderful hotel. Rooms are comfortable. My twin beds were rather small. If I book again it will be the room with the queen-size bed. Everything else is excellent. On-site restaurant serves delicious food. Staff is excellent. Outside showers and restroom great for cleaning up after a day of diving. The property is located away from the noise of the road making for a very relaxing stay. Restaurants and shopping and the pier a very short walk away.

A nice Resort tucked away from the busy traffic noise. A nice relaxing location within easy reach of the busy Phuket area, and a short walk to the pier

The Palm Garden was a wonderful experience in a secluded enclave off the main highway about a 10-15 minute walk from the pier and a row of restaurants and shops. The food at the resort was excellent and the service was top-notch. There is nice roomy swimming pool with a deep hole at the deep end for resort dive training. The area as a whole is not especially interesting unless you have a car but it's an excellent retreat location for R&R.

We enjoyed this accomodation for its pool area, peacefulness and relaxation. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The resort itself is a bit of a distance from surrounding restaurants and attractions, and at times we felt isolated. Overall, the Palm Garden Resort was a lovely place to stay.

Hidden away down a windy road it’s so tranquil and quiet, so much greenery makes you feel like your in a jungle and the pool is the best we’ve seen at a hotel, all older couples and families perfect for our little family thank you so much! 🙏

We stayed for 14 days. We had intermittent water every day. Staff tried to fix but you know how that goes. The room we had in the back corner is closest to where the staff lives. Which is fine except that the wood burning stove they use smokes out the bathroom every night. Unless its windy. Getting a Grab was ok. If you are Diving everyday this place is perfect. You can walk to dock. All in all staff was super nice. The location is the only issue here. Walking is a hike to anywhere.

Very handy for diving with Sea Bees. Nice tranquil setting. Pool was nice but waterfall not working. The rooms are comfortable but a bit dated. Staff were good but very quiet (English ability not too strong).

Very convenient for Chalong Pier if you want to go diving. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby but the main nightlife is on the other side of the airport in Patong. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful despite being close to a main road. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I loved my stay at Palm Gardens Resort. I was in Chalong to scuba dive (with Sea Bees who are incidentally an excellent dive operator). Palm Gardens is so conveniently located - just 5 mins walk to the dive centre and main streets of Chalong. Yet at the same time it's a quiet oasis from the busy streets. I was drawn to this resort because of the garden - I love nature and it was so nice to relax by the pool or swing on the hammock outside my room. The pool is pristine & clean and it's worth giving yourself a day or two to just enjoy being poolside. My room was lovely, nice hot shower and all the usual conveniences. The only thing I would say is that the bed was a bit hard, but I didn't mind for a couple of nights. The onsite restaurant had the best food I had on my entire trip in Thailand. I loved the red curry and chicken with cashew nuts! The staff were really helpful and helped arranged my airport transfer. I would definitely come back again. On this trip I stayed at several different hotels, including a luxury 5 star resort - but Palm Gardens was my most favourite place to stay because it was the one I could relax at the most and for the reasons already stated above.

The hotel is in a quiet back road near a very busy main road. Although well positioned, you do need transport to get almost anywhere. The rooms are fairly basic, but there is a very nice pool and the staff were very helpful . Overall, a good stay.

Wonderful place for relaxing, particularly before or after diving. The pool is a perfect temperature and is very clean, with a deep section for checking out dive gear. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms each have a patio facing the pool, with chairs and a hammock. Rooms are half of a cabin, good sized with quiet, efficient air conditioning, and a small room off of the bathroom for drying gear. We enjoyed the restaurant food, and the staff were very helpful and cheerful. It is secluded, with not a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, but the essentials are all within walking distance. If you’re looking for a high energy, touristy, crowded scene, I would suggest Patong Beach, but for us, this place was perfect.

This is a small little resort of private bungalows. Mostly German couples stayed here during our stay. The food was pretty good, and the pool area never crowded at all. Its not really walkable to anything, but they have a lot of new mopeds/scooters to rent for a pretty small fee. We barely heard other guests and felt like we had the place to ourselves, but it’s mostly because the rooms are spaced out nicely between the gardens. Rooms could use a fresh coat of paint, but otherwise were kept clean
