We stayed at the Santika for three nights. The hotel's location is decent, but the service was lacking, especially at the front desk. They were very inflexible and rigid. They were defensive and made no effort to accommodate guests' requests. Their request was simple: they asked for complimentary food to be served at night, but they couldn't. The hospitality could be improved, especially since this is a tourist destination. Hopefully, this will lead to further improvements in front office service. Thank you.

Very good, worth maintaining

The staff here treated us like we were family. It was a wonderful stay. If I return to Luwuk, I would definitely stay here. The food was very good and had a good variety. We stayed for a week and they had their breakfast staples and rotating items on the menu. This was very helpful in exploring varying foods from the area. The facilities were clean and well-kept. The staff were very hospitable. There are ocean-view rooms as it is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Take note that it sits on a hill, though. Their pool was clean and had a gradient so all ages could swim according to their level comfortably. Hotel Santika made my stay in Luwuk very easy and memorable.
