Lovely little hotel rich in heritage. Great breakfast, friendly staffs.

This was my second stay at Kokoon Hotel Surabaya, which both were good. This is a hotel with a vintage ambiance of Surabaya old town with friendly staff and a reasonable rate. Location-wise, this hotel is located in the north area of Surabaya at the center of the Surabaya old town and Chinatown, which is good for sightseeing. A little bit far from the city center, though. Stayed in the standard room, which the room and hotel are overall clean. Breakfast was delicious and good for a 3-star hotel, with some variety of choices. A little concern from me is the hygiene and safety procedure of the swimming pool. A rule and sign of "must wear swimming attire" is present, but a lot of people wear regular clothes while swimming (e.g., casual shirts and shorts/trousers). The hotel must be stricter regarding this matter, on which people swimming without appropriate swimming attire must not be allowed to use the pool. But this does not overshadow our pleasant stay at Kokoon Hotel Surabaya, which overall is a nice hotel to stay. Thank you and best wishes.

The room was clean, the bathroom had hot water and worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was very fast, and the staff was very friendly and responsive.

The hotel's location and building are very attractive, located in the Old Town area of Surabaya, which is synonymous with colonial buildings. However, at night/holidays the surrounding area is very quiet because it is located in a daytime trading/shopping zone. All services are very good but could be improved further in the future, especially in terms of ambiance/atmosphere of the room corridors which are not well lit, especially during the day so it still feels dim/a bit dark. The friendliness of all staff to guests is also a superior attraction and should be maintained. The menu and types of food/drinks are very varied and have delicious tastes throughout.

The surrounding area isn't really geared towards tourists, but the hotel is excellent. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is good, and tasty meals are available in the evening. The pool is delightful, and there is a small gym.

It was fun, but the service was a bit lacking.

The place is iconic, if you stay on a Saturday night it's close to the culinary scene.

My favorite hotel in Surabaya. Located in the heart of Old Surabaya, the place is a strategic spot to reach Pasar Atom and all its culinary offerings, Panggung street and Pasar Pabean for street photography, and many more. Rooms are spacious and clean. It has a restaurant with nice breakfast, though I greatly relish a midday order of a cold Bintang after exploring the surroundings.

It was a great stay at Kokoon Hotel with my family. I'd suggest changing the cereal trays to make it easier for the kids to help themselves. Maybe add some dessert options in the future. Overall, everything was fine.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, clean swimming pool.

Located in Pabean, there is a gas station near the hotel. If you want to eat out, you have to use a car. The room is okay, average, clean, with cold AC, good hot water, and a clean bathroom. Breakfast is delicious, and the restaurant staff are friendly and helped me when I needed a table for 5 people. The security guard also helped me with parking and checking out. The front desk staff are also very helpful and friendly. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay at Kokoon Pabean Surabaya. Good job.

I’ve spent two nights at Kokoon Hotel with my family. The location is near Pasar Atom, so you can walk there to grab some food or anything else. The room was spacious, but there were no connecting rooms since I stayed with the kids, so it was a bit of a hassle. But overall, we had a pleasant time there. The staff was very friendly, the food was good, the parking area is easy to access, and the pool is open until 8 PM.

I've only stayed here once. I've tried this hotel. However, there are a few points: 1. There's only one access card. 2. Access to the elevator without a card (security-wise, it's lacking). 3. There are mold stains on the blanket. However, for the budget price, overall it's quite satisfactory. Improve the cleanliness.

This is my first stay here. This heritage-inspired hotel boasts a friendly and helpful staff. It's close to the Old Town tourist attractions. The rooms are clean, and the menu is quite varied, but unfortunately, we arrived at 10:30 a.m. for breakfast and most of the menu items were already sold out. There's a gym and swimming pool. The vintage vibe is strong, and it's quiet in the middle of a warehouse area. Comments: The breakfast menu is minimal, and I ordered a non-smoking room but got a smoking room, which diminished the good feeling.
