It is located close to the airport. Friendly staff, fairly affordable prices. Breakfast included is ok at a cheap price. Will come back here again. Been here for 2 nights.

The room is comfy and clean, the shower and water heater were great 😍. The buffet breakfast spread is quite limited but tasty and the service at the cafe is good and friendly. I guess the hotel needs to improve on the cleanliness at the shower area and front counter reception to be more friendly and welcoming.

We are very happy staying in the hotel with a very good view to spice arena. The hotel housekeeping also answered all our. Requests on time. Thank you very much.

In summary, if you are on a budget and looking for a decent place to stay with plenty of dining options nearby, the Olive Tree Hotel is a great choice. The excellent pricing, coupled with satisfactory facilities and rooms, make it a practical option for budget-conscious travelers.

Long story short: 1. The application must provide as clear details as possible, if it says "3 people in room, free breakfast" what does it mean? 3 people 3 breakfast or another meaning. But I am grateful that the application offered me payment back when I complained about why I only got 1 breakfast + 1 person (extra bed). Meanwhile, the hotel only gave the solution "please complain to CS", even though after I made the booking I contacted the hotel and one of the reservation agents answered that "yes, I assure you that you have 3 breakfasts daily", but it was fine. reception and cashier insist on the system, so what's the point of a hotel reservation agent who convinces me? 2. The reception staff and cashier were not careful at checkout, where my cash deposit was said to be used to pay for an extra bed, fortunately I still insisted that they read my booking again, if I said yes, the cash just disappeared. 3. Apart from the 2 problems above, the hotel is clean, but unfortunately the rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear bangs when the doors of the rooms near us were closed, it looks like the door closers need to be adjusted again. Just cross to the Spice Convention.

Hotel with modern design, clean rooms, clean and comfortable beds, bathrooms are also so clean, good breakfast but the air conditioner is not cold enough,

This accommodation looks the same as shown in the picture, the rooms are spacious enough, comfortable and clean. All facilities function properly. Close to the airport, outside the hotel there are many restaurants and cafes, the staff are friendly and the room service staff works well. 10 days stay in Penang, this hotel we feel is very good, comfortable and clean. Definitely we come back

Booking for 2 guest include breakfast but only got 1 included other one have to pay.

Nice check in staff, nice and clean room. We ordered a king but got 2 singles instead but it was comfy.

The rooms are nice and quite clean. The view towards the front of the hotel is really good.

The stay is only one night: room is cleaned, breakfast is good. but no time to explore amenities: pool and gym. The check-out at reception counter must improve for better queuing

The rooms are nice and new, the bathroom is also nice. The hotel is close to the beach hospital a lot of food around the hotel.

Olive Tree Hotel has always been my choice to stay over in Penang because it is very clean, comfortable, and the staffs are very kind and helpful. The hotel serves good meals and beverages in Selah Restaurant with good ambience and reasonable price. Nearby the hotel, there was 24 hour Sayid Bistro halal food that made my life easier whenever I wanted to chill out. Overall, I salute that this hotel committed so much with its policy to save the earth.

The hotel room is nicely layout with proper size however can still find defects in the room which need improvement, especially the bathroom area.

I had the most pleasant stay here. This hotel is close to the hospital where I did my medical check up. And located in an area that not too crowded. 3 stars hotel with ambient like 5 stars hotel. Surrounding with a good resto & cafe. Highly recommended.
