The early check-in service from 12 PM at only 25k/hour seems reasonable. Initially, they gave me a room on the 7th floor, but the bathroom smelled terrible. Around 6 PM that day, I went out and asked the receptionist to check the bathroom, and they agreed. Around 9 PM, I returned to the room, but nothing had changed. I complained to the receptionist and requested a room change, and they moved me to a better room on the same floor.
However, the cleanliness of the housekeeping department was terrible. Almost every day I had to go down to the lobby to complain about this:
- The bed sheets were supposed to be changed every two days, but when I saw mold on the sheets and requested a change, they didn't change them for me :))
- I put up a sign requesting room cleaning (as the receptionist said) but they didn't clean it either.
- Amenities were left outside the door instead of being refilled for me even though I put up a sign requesting room cleaning.
- My room was for a long stay, and I requested room cleaning several times. The first few times, I spoke to the male receptionist, who agreed but didn't clean. Then I spoke to the female receptionist, who said that housekeeping only does a quick clean and doesn't sweep :))) After talking to her for a while, they finally swept for me, and sweeping that room only took 1 minute.
- I saw the bed sheets, blankets, and pillows left on the trash can near the elevator for a while (a day) without anyone taking them to wash, which was very unhygienic.
Regarding the attitude of the reception staff:
- 1 The male staff member agreed to everything but didn't make any changes, and didn't inform me about the housekeeping staff's working hours...
- The male staff member who changed my room was the best; he resolved the issue quickly and provided clear information.
- One female receptionist wasn't very friendly to customers; she should change her attitude if she wants to satisfy guests.
I stayed for a week and rented a motorbike to park in the hotel's basement. The parking attendant was very lovely. Take his phone number in case you come back late and the basement is locked; you can call that number to have the staff open it for you.
These are my impressions. I studied service, so I understand what standard service is, and my requests (room cleaning, staff attitude, etc.) were very basic. You can come and experience it for yourself. If you have any problems, go down to the lobby and ask; they might resolve them (follow up to make sure they will help). Have a great holiday!
