Friendly staff, comfortable place

I booked between February 24th and 26th. For a price under 200,000 Rupiah, I think it's still okay and quite affordable. However, it's a shame the room's cleanliness wasn't maintained. The bathroom, especially the glass, looked dirty and had small animals. It gave the impression of being poorly maintained. The bedroom also had dusty areas and hairs. The bedsheets also had stains. Hopefully, cleanliness will be better managed in the future to make guests feel more comfortable.

Honestly, I was hesitant at first about choosing The Journey, but somehow it turned out beyond my expectations! What can I say? Budget-friendly, very comfortable ambiance, strategic location, and most impressively, the staff was very friendly and attentive. For context, yesterday there was a water outage. The staff offered temporary access to the front hotel, and as an apology, I received two tote bags as souvenirs <3 I feel so lucky to be able to stay at The Journey. Good job to all the staff behind it!

The hotel staff was very friendly, and I really enjoyed being able to shop around the hotel for very low prices. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yogyakarta. Thank you.🙏

For a budget hotel, it's okay, but I suggest paying more attention to cleanliness, especially bathroom facilities (closets).

actually everythings fine, clean room, the housekeeper is fine and kind, but the receptionist ruin it. In a check out time she is not smile not even an inch, her eyes keep rolled up many times and the most shocking part is when Im in a park area, I heard she warmingly say goodbye to other customer with a long "makasih yaaaa" in a smile voice, but not to me. Is it because Im staying at the cheap room one? if it so then it makes sense this is the unfriendly hotel for the backpackers. Bye, nice to know you and never again. I stay during 20-21 june 2025. I always remember how people treat me.

The hotel staff was friendly and checked in at night without a hitch, but the mattress in my room was hard, it felt springy and the pillow was very thin. Overall it's ok if you're only in Jogja for a short time.

For the location of the hotel is quite strategic, close to the city center. Good facilities, checkin time on time. It's just that I'm not comfortable with the toilet, because the shower is small, it seems that it should be cleaned and maintained often by the hotel

Overall okay. Comfortable and slow living. 8/10 yay!

awesome budget hotel, quiet hotel atmosphere, suitable for those looking for peace. not far from Taman Siswa and Prawirotaman. only the pillows are a bit thin for me. also the tv channels are not complete, many local tvs are down. the rest is awesome

For those looking for an aesthetic budget hotel in Jogja, you must try staying at the Journey Hotel.

Only the bathroom is not very clean.

Overall the service is very satisfying. Clean rooms, okay bathroom, location very close to the city center. Staying with family is comfortable.

The mattress is hard, really hard ones are not really comfortable for sleeping, the springs really feel, at that price in Jogja you can get a more comfortable mattress. And minimal maintenance, there are saws on the ceiling and dirty walls. The others are only B according to the price, the worst thing is that the mattress is hard and the color of the bed sheets is dirty.

The staff is really friendly, only 1 shell, the room facilities don't function well 🙏🏻.
