The onsen pool in the room was extremely dirty and the water was very murky, making it unusable. Hopefully, this will serve as a basis for evaluating the cleanliness of the private onsen facilities in each room.

The room was pleasant and clean with a wooden feel. Just like in Japan. However, the onsen pool in the room was quite small, and the water was murky and not hot enough. Otherwise, it was fine. The restaurant food was just so-so. Thank you.

Great design with attention to details really gave a full experience of ryokan stay. Located in the city center, easy to access but the noise from the busy surroundings was inevitable. Access to and from cottages from the service area required a buggy car, so it might not be ideal for a stroller or wheelchair. Our 2-bedroom unit was spacious, clean, and comfy. The private onsen was perfect for a family with 2 small kids. Privacy could be an issue though, the onsen seated in the back deck was quite visible from the adjacent unit. Food was the real disappointment. We ordered ramen and sushi, and both didn't meet our expectation. Breakfast variety should be improved, and food quality and taste need immediate fix to meet the standard of authentic Japanese culinary experience. Otherwise, offering Japanese street food might be a better idea. Most staff showed great hospitality and helpful. Especially our buggy driver (forget his name), the big guy who took us to our cottage on arrival. Thumbs up for him. Onsite activities can be added to improve the overall Japanese experience.

The staff were friendly, the food was good, and room cleanliness was good. The garden and scenery were amazing. I stayed at the cottage with my family and baby boy. Overall, everything was perfect.

The mini-onsen was fun, and the Japanese atmosphere was perfect for photos. Unfortunately, the smell of the garbage that passed by almost constantly was disturbing, and our room was noisy from passing motorbikes.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful since we enter the hotel area. Afternoon tea was nice and fun while riding ATV and fishing. In-room hot tub was also great. Thank you

A pleasant staycation, with complete facilities

The hotel atmosphere is okay, the staff service is okay, the rooms are okay, unfortunately there are too many flies in the restaurant so that during breakfast it really disturbs the comfort of the guests (flies also land on some of the breakfast menus served at the buffet table) maybe there needs to be a solution for these flies.

Highly recommend place to stay at Songgoriti. Exceeded our expectations, awesome.. everything was perfect. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was varied. Try the outdoor activities, fishing, and ATV. Worth it. They even prepared hot water and disposable underwear for us to soak in at night while enjoying the surrounding night atmosphere. Thumbs up…

In my opinion, the quality has decreased compared to the previous 2 visits because the onsen is not hot and does not flow continuously during operating hours.

I will stay here again if I go to Batu, even though it was raining all the time when I stayed there, the atmosphere was beautiful and romantic... the first day I had breakfast in my room, all the menus were delicious, the staff were also quick to help... Thank you The Onsen Hot Spring Resort Batu

Get vouchers for ATVs, fishing trips, discounted kimono rentals, and dining at restaurants. Perfect for family time. Weekday rates may be even cheaper, as they differ only slightly from weekend rates.

Japanese-style hotel provides an unforgettable experience, the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and helpful, lots of activities for children.
