Strategic location, very close to Krakal Beach. It's less than a 5-minute walk. I booked a superior or standard room; I originally wanted a deluxe, but they were sold out. There's only one deluxe room available. The room isn't very spacious, and the bed is a bit small, so it's a bit cramped for four people (2 adults and 2 children aged 8-9), but that's okay. For the price, it's quite reasonable, and it's a step up from a guesthouse or inn. It feels more comfortable.
There's green open space, a garden, a swimming pool, and swings. It's perfect for a BBQ at night, as long as it's not noisy. If you don't want to bring BBQ equipment, you can order Javanese noodles from the stall next to the hotel. They can be delivered to your room, as it seems like a partnership. Seafood is also available.
Breakfast was fried rice, but the taste was so-so. It was enough to fill your stomach before hitting the beach.
Overall, I was satisfied and enjoyed my stay here. I'll return if I'm in Gunung Kidul.
