The ambiance of the hotel is great and overall very clean; however, the location is so far (about 4 kms) from Sagada town proper that cost of transportation to and from the place is expensive / prohibitive (i.e. PhP 500 just to get picked up at the hotel and going to the town proper). There are local jeepneys available but the waiting is long and the last trip is between 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. So if you plan to stay out late in town doing whatever, be prepared to fork a couple of hundred pesos just to go back to the hotel via the for hire vans or motorcycles available. It would have been good if the hotel offers a pick-up service for customers but apparently they do not have one. Although they have an assembled jeep, this is subject to availability. Since I would have been spending more for transportation due to the distance of the hotel from town, I ended up staying only one night and moved into another hotel right smack in the town proper. Running water, whether for bathing or cleaning, is available but if there is a brownout or blackout then you're SOL since water delivery is dependent upon electricity. This is a personal experience when I cannot even flush the toilet or wash, the staff told me they can bring a pail of water for that purpose. The hotel should have a water tank that can provide water even if there is no electricity thus ensuring water availability all the time.
