Plus: Strategic hotel, close to everywhere: commuter train, busway, double-decker city tour bus, plenty of culinary options around the hotel, just walk to the shops.
Minuses: 1. There's no trash can in the toilet, so you just throw used toilet paper away.
2. There's no mat in the room, so where are you supposed to wipe your wet feet (showering, etc.)? Just get on the bed. Especially since I have two kids with me, it's really scary if they slip, and can you imagine what the floor would be like? Luckily, there's room service so I can ask for a mat. Oh my, it's really hard for guests to report it. 3. At breakfast, I asked for toilet paper (they said they would deliver it) and when I got home, no one delivered it to my room.
4. The front desk staff were unfriendly. This is the first time I've stayed at such an unfriendly hotel.
5. The bed cover had a stain, but I didn't bother to say anything because I HAD TO GO DOWN because there was no phone in the room and I didn't want to deal with the unfriendly front desk staff.
6. The food (chicken tasted like hard wood and was bland) (pictured) and there was little variety, with yellow rice as the theme, but no chili sauce.
