Boutique hotel within walking distance of train station and in downtown Sundsvall. Lightly staffed and property was a bit aged, understandably because the building was probably 100 years old, but it met our needs and breakfast was sufficient.

I stayed for 6 nights. They did not clean the room, the garbage basket was never emptied in all this days. Breakfast poor selection. Cold room at night.

Well located. No problem except for the sewer smell in the washrooms.

Paint peeling off ceiling. Bathroom floor burned. Curtains didn’t fit windows so properties behind could see me changing etc. Room was cramped and dark. TV channels didn’t work. Waste of money. Could have booked a much nicer hotel for a few krona more. Hi

If you are looking for a great breakfast you are not at the right place. However, should you need assistance during you travel, you can be sure to be well assisted by Sibel, the receptionist. The City Hostel is well situated in the center of the town.

We were running late, the front desk clerk was very polite and accommadating. The room was clean but incompletly set up. No towels and prior guests had left items in the room.

For the very good price I am very satisfied. Nice and helpful staff. And for me it was excellent to be near the bus station and the city.

It was great enough close to downtown and the train.

Was pretty good for being a a hostel. I will definitely return.

A hotel in center of Sundsvall. Near to everything. Clean but simple hotel and nice staf.

Borde inte få kallas hotell, sämre klassens vandrarhem möjligen. Knappt wifi, knappt tv fruktansvärt risiga rum. Mörkläggning täcker inte fönster. Medioker frukost med blaskigt kaffe från kaffemaskin hittad på loppmarknad.

Mycket liten hiss. Trevlig personal.

Var som inte var bra? Kan inte komma på något som var bra. Det var det dyraste rummet jag någonsin betalat för och det var det sämsta hotell vi bott på 😂 Allmänt nedgånget, fönstret på rummet var trasigt och gick inte att stänga ( sa till om det men dom brydde sig inte ), badrummet och rummet sunkigt och nedgånget, frukosten var under all kritik. Kan inte ens kalla det för en hotellfrukostbuffe pga det lilla utbudet. Undvik om ni kan!!

Ingen personal på plats vid incheckningen. Personalen kom inte förrän 15:15. Vi kom inte in genom porten förrän andra gäster dök upp. Kallt rum, dålig fjuttig frukost. Dåliga sängar. Sunkigt.
