Fantastic Villa in a great location run by lovely owners. Delicious food and beautiful surroundings.

We arrived late but were met with open arms and welcoming faces. They made us a traditional Sri Lankan dinner onsite and organized a private safari tour for us the next day, which included meals. We had a fabulous time and loved being in the gorgeous greenery of the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to that area!

Green view safari was lovely. The highlight was definitely dinner, 6 different dishes plus popadoms and all incredible delicious! Book in for dinner if you stay here. The lodge was lovely too, staff and hospitality great.

The hospitality at this 3 star resort was very good. The hosts sorted out our transfer from our hotel to the villa and then on to the next resort. We had a few problems with the transfer as the driver didn’t take the highway so it was going to add an additional 2 hours onto our already 3 hour trip and the driver did not speak English but half way on the trip we contacted the owners and they sorted it out and redirected the driver. The hire car is a very small Suzuki swift so we wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for transfers in a luxury vehicle. The room itself was basic but clean. They had WiFi, air conditioning and a satellite tv with English channels. I must admit that I was afraid to use the bathroom as there were a few bugs in the bathroom and there was a praying mantis that had resided on the toilet so my husband took great amusement in teasing me about using the toilet. The hosts were fantastic and they go out of their way to please you, they cooked us a lovely evening meal and also cooked us a traditional Sri Lanka breakfast with curry for breakfast. They provided a beautiful watermelon welcome drink on arrival and it was the best drink I have had in Sri Lanka so far, better than the drinks served at the Riu. We took a safari with the hotels jeep and this was very good, their guide was very knowledgable and they made the whole process really easy. If you are looking for a bed for the night and a safari then this place is ideal.

Extremely kind and friendly staff! Lovely, quiet location away from the road. Good food too. They arranged a good Udawalawe safari for us as well as transport to our next destination, which was helpful. Highly recommended!
