The location is very strategic, just a few minutes walk to reach iconic places in Melaka.

It's a deal breaker for a backpacker or even share room for 2 people. The room is quite big, the air cond is worked and maybe need a little maintenance and have to be cleaned. The lady staff and the owner is super nice and very welcoming. You can take a walk to go to the center like Red Square and Jonker Walk Street. Will stay here again if I come to Malacca.

Upon my arrival, managed to upgrade to Aircon Queen as there's only non Aircon Single/Queen available at traveloka apps. Location was great easy accessible 10-15 minutes walk to Jonker Street & 5 minutes walk to kota laksamana main road for halal satay, tandoori restaurant, KKK Mart, Speedmart, 7-11 etc. Room was very clean,comfortable, toilet flushing, hot water shower & Aircon in working condition. Kiblat indicator in the room for Muslim guests. There's hot/cold water dispenser and ironing clothes station next to lobby. The only thing I am not comfortable cigarette smoking smell from room next door in early morning during my 1st night. Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay as Kota Lodge Hotel was cozy and comfortable. I will come by again to stay for my future trip to Malacca.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the single room was quite spacious. I arrived past midnight and was very well-served. Self-check-in is available; just scan the WhatsApp number provided and you'll be directed to the room. Close to Jonker Street, it's easy to find food.

Strategic hotel location with a cheap price, there are unfriendly hotel staff, check-in time is too late at 4:00 pm with compensation of RM10 per hour for early check-in. Hot water in room 24 is not working.

I think the curtains need to be changed. Because it's very rare for us women to sleep. Everything else is okay, clean, customer service is also fast.

The check-in lady was super friendly. She let me check in early. I checked in at 1am and was able to check in right away. She also let me sit there all day while I waited for the bus to go back to KL.

The hotel room was clean, but there were no hangers.

For a solo traveler it is very worth it. The room is clean, sheets, pillow cases, towels I am sure are clean, hot water is available for bathing, drinking water is available on the beach, if the room atmosphere is not like new hotels it is very understandable. The location is not too close to Jonker Street but it is very strategic. The only drawback is that the room door cannot be locked. Alhamdulillah it is still safe.

The place is nice, strategic, comfortable. Just prepare money for service fee and tax. Although you have to add to the cost, it is still quite worth it.

Very shitty, the receptionist is not there, have to get my keys through housekeeping, no lift so have to carry luggage through stairs, other guest were so noisy.

Budget hotel and close to the busy center of Melaka City.

The hotel is bad, the room is also bad. Moreover, the bathroom is really bad. The advantage is that it is close to Jonker. It's better to look for a little more comfortable accommodation.

This hotel has a self-check-in/out system. To avoid confusion, we need to contact the number listed at the hotel entrance. The hotel staff will guide us to get the room key. The hotel building consists of 2 parts, the old and the new. My room is in the new building. The facilities include a queen-size bed, TV, AC, fan, private bathroom, and wifi. The room is clean, but the curtains need to be washed. Tips for you, if you go to Malacca at night, provide mosquito repellent lotion. Access from this hotel to various tourist spots is close. You only need to walk so you save money. The atmosphere around this hotel is rather quiet, especially from 8-9 pm onwards, it's really quiet. In conclusion, booking a hotel here is worth it for those of you who want to get cheap accommodation in Malacca👍

Hotel nyaman, bersih, murah dan dekat tempat wisata, pelayanan memuaskan.

We stayed for the second time at Kota Lodge Hotel for 3 days in 4 rooms because it is very close to all the popular tourist attractions in Melaka, just walking distance of about 300-500 meters. The room was clean, the bathroom was also clean, the AC was good, in the lobby there was a dispenser for hot, normal and cold water. Coffee and tea were also provided. An iron and table were also provided. The service was extraordinary, you can self check in and check out. The staff, Kak Ana (even offered to borrow a rice cooker because I brought my parents 😃) and Nisa were incredibly friendly, like besties because they were also from Sumatra. Next time I will stay here again if I go to Melaka. 😄.
