Close to major touristic spots.

The property was a little pricey but extremely well location in Gion and a great place to be situated in Kyoto. I would consider staying again

This is the perfect location to the Gion District but also easily accessible to other places around Kyoto. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and its close to Kyoto station. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Its a quiet area as well, so we slept well.

Very nice property, however dining options and ourside activities were expensive, uber is a must, very limited dining, other than that nice hotel

Delightful, friendly small hotel conveniently located with free breakfast and helpful staff. The room and bathroom had all conveniences I needed. I'd return if ever I was in Kyoto again.

This was in a pretty decent location walking distance to transport, and walking distance from a few tourist spots you’d want to see. Rooms were a good size, and overall very happy with our stay

It was a great spot. Very quiet. Easy walking access to lots temples. 15 minute walk to the market. Close to a bus stop and 7/11. Very comfortable bed. Very small bathroom but manageable. We had the breakfast once. It could be improved by the addition of fresh fruit. There’s a breakfast cafe around the corner that opens at 9.

Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Room was a nice size to have for big luggage.

Good location, nice showers, relatively comfortable room with more storage than other rooms. Could not open window properly, breakfast is terrible, and we had quite a bit of misunderstanding with the staff which meant our room wasn’t cleaned our whole four night stay. Customer service not particularly great. Coffee in the machine in the room was good. Bathroom was very noisy.

Great location for Gion!

Good amount of toiletries. sleeping clothes (kimono) available at their lobby if needed Breakfast has different types of pastries. Walkable to famous temples, to bus station and stores.

Wonderful location close to everything in Gion and about a 3 minute walk to buses to get around the rest of Kyoto. Lovely staff, room had everything you could need for a three night stay. Having complimentary pastries, juice and ice coffee to start the day was a fantastic bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Walkable location and attention to service are very good. The breakfast can be improved.

Great stay. My room was large - for Japan, the bed was extremely comfortable and there was consistent hot water in the shower. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was subpar but still good for a quick snack to start your day. The location was great, just minutes from busy areas, but in a very quiet location - across the street from a shrine/temple! Had a great time here and would return!

This was the perfect stay in Kyoto. The room was beautiful, very clean and spacious. I can't wait to stay here again!

This is a small hotel on a quiet street in a historic part of Kyoto. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are western style. The staff are friendly and helpful, even booking us reservations at a restaurant. The breakfast is not fancy- mainly packaged pastries and juice. However, the hotel is a great value, a great location, and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. If I come to Kyoto again, I will stay here.

This is the best hotel in Kyoto, excellent location, very walkable to gion area and near subway station. This is the second time we stay here and will always come back. The staff is great too and the hotel is pretty and cozy

The area is in the middle of Gion and ckose to many shrines and temples. The staf is great as well.
