The staff were excellent friendly helpful courteous. The hotel room was good and clean. I would suggest that a toilet brush is placed in the bathrooms.

Very oldy worldy, exceptionally well kept, 5 star service. My room was very well kept, everything i needed and more. Highly recammend, i didnt have an evening meal but the menu looked fantastic and home cooked. Breakfast was superb and great value for money! 15/10!!

This was our 2nd visit. The staff are helpful and friendly. The on-site parking is a bonus. Breakfast is delicious and the evening menu is very varied and the food excellent.

What a lovely hotel! Really excellent customer service from all of the staff. I had requested a room with exposed timber beams, and on check in, the member of staff (sorry, I didn't catch your name) went out of his way to ensure that this was what we got. The room was lovely! Beautifully furnished with sumptuous fabrics, comfortable bed and sofa. There is plenty of parking which seemed very safe. The hotel is in the middle of the small village, so well located for exploring. Also easy to walk to the bus stop (10 minutes) to catch the bus in to Oxford. Tasty breakfast with options for cooked or cereals and the like - or both!

Parking area was nicely tucked and I felt it very safe. The room was great, clean and very comfy. And the staff were very friendly.

This is a very unique quaint Hotel. Rooms are comfortable and modern in an old style original hotel. Food in restaurant fantastic. Walks are good from the Hotel to the river Thames and around town to the Abbey. Loved our stay here.

Lovely room, good staff, tasty breakfast & free parking. Somewhat disappointing that there were no pastries left at breakfast midway during the set times. Breakfast staff were also slow to take orders.

It was great - but one thing to improve is the visibility of the small step just outside room 2. I tripped on it twice. The bathroom is a bit tired, the shower head needs attention and the cracks in the basin indicate that a refresh is needed. It would have been good to have a radio in the room but the tea making facilties were good.

Great old hotel in the middle of a lovely unspoilt village. Very good parking, lovely clean room, excellent service but above all, very dog friendly. A good English breakfast prepared us for our onward journey. Great place, will stay again.

Beautiful room and restaurants (something out of a magazine beautiful). Staff was helpful and the area is quaint. Breakfast is a lovely touch as well!
