Good location within walking distance to good restaurants and shops and train and mountains..

Slightly quirky but all the better for that. Helpful and friendly. The mountains easily accessible and spectacular. Interesting dinner and breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay

Wonderful hotel. Close to hiking trails, restaurants. Very accommodating. Walked out to meet taxi for us at 0430am on our departure and packed a breakfast for us to take with us.

Great stay in June and July with Greenwood Hotel. The booking process was easy through Hotels.com, but impossible if trying to book direct. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic and helped us book a car rental when our initial reservation was cancelled by the company. The only downside is that we didn’t have great wifi from our room, so we had to get creative when it came to finding access in town, but this was a minor inconvenience compared to the awesome front desk staff service.

I love this hotel. I stay here whenever I come to the Tatras whenever possible. The hotel is very quaint, the food is excellent and the staff is superb.

Beautiful hotel

Location was great! Walk to the trails! Tricky to find the hotel, and no signs to help. Best way in is through the right side gate at the Atrium Hotel. Breakfast was the best we have had on our trip. The bed was a little old and soft.

Being close to where I live and work, I often get away on the weekends to the High Tatras. This is my “go to” place. The rooms are warm and cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel highly!

My recent stay was not necessarily a pleasant one, but in no way would it detract from the Greenwood. The evening of the day I arrived, I suffered a slight mishap that required stitches. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my safety. They drove me to the nearest clinic where I got medical attention. When I travel to this area, I attempt to book the Greenwood because it is a very nice, well kept hotel. But, the staff is always top notch. This less than pleasant personal experience proved even more that a hotel is only as good as the staff. This is a 5-star staff! Their kindness does not go unnoticed!

Sylvester was an absolute star as was all of the staff. So clean and friendly and the view was stunning.

Great location and a very reasonable hotel but my husband ended up with food poisoning after having breakfast in the hotel. The owner was rude, arrogant and xenophobic (with him not being local, that was rather amusing), so would never stay there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as there are many nicer hotels and B&Bs in the area with much better customer service and pleasant staff.

We loved the hotel, small but very clean. Breakfast 7euro extra per person was in an adjoining building, very tasty. Parking is small but there was always a spot. We will return. Beautiful area.

Absolut en udsøgt fornøjelse. Fantastisk udsigt fra vores værelse. Dejlig centrale i byen. Og en dejlig morgenmads buffe. Vi valgte at spise aftensmad på hotellet, og dette var ligeledes en rigtig god oplevelse. Så er men til et godt, dejlig holt med sjæl og dejlig service. Kan vi kun anbefale et besøg her.

Kleine und feine Unterkunft mitten in der Tatra. Von hier aus ist vieles ohne Zuhilfenahme von Verkehrsmitteln zu erwandern. Der Ort bietet einige sehr gute Restaurants.

Super beliggenhed, og stort værelse. Service minded personale.
