Was a bit difficult to find at first but easy to access. And free parking!! I also loved the variety of kitchen supplies! The only downside that I had was initially being assigned to room 1 (both on my email confirmation and upon the self check in). I ‘claimed’ my bed and left for a reservation. When I returned, the room was fully ‘claimed’ leaving no bed for me. Thankfully staff was on site at the time and said that it was a group who wanted to stay in the same room. They ended up moving me to another room, which is no big deal, but what if staff wasn’t there to assist with the change?

I came to B-14 from a partial hike on the hut-to-hut Laugevegur Hiking Trail. I needed something economical and available for the same night. As a mature female traveling alone, I figured if I could stay in trail huts, I could stay in a hostel. I was super pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming, friendly, very clean and comfortable accommodation. I slept better than I had in a few nights! I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

I was a little bit disappointing I was left outside without a key or a code to get in, but after one night here I extended my stay three more nights because it's so clean and so immaculate but it's actually nicer than some hotels I've stayed at. I had a 12 bunk room and I only had to share it with one other person. Very clean, and extremely luxurious, which, for a hostel, is basically unheard of

Friendly staff and some nice decor touches let down by a simple lack of amenities for a property that accommodates this many people. Two showers/toilets made for a long wait at times. The property appears to have been converted from another use. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and clean and the kitchen area was if anything over-equipped! Location was outside the city main area but a nice flat walk into town so no issues there.

I love the common space area and the dorm! Especially the curtains and individual plugs for each bed. I will definitely come back here next time. But, maybe the kitchen could add a kettle?

As much as a appreciate a clean facility the staff mopped the floors before check out time. This left the bathrooms useable as the floors and facilities were wet with residue. It would of been nice to have a list of amenities including in check in or listed upon arrival. The staff said hello upon arrival but did not introduce who she was I thought she was just another person staying there until she walked into the room labeled staff.

It was great. Exceeded my expectations for a hostel. Amenities around the hostel which is nice. Got to meet lots of wonderful people. Everyone that stayed was respectful of the space.

The cheapest hostel of the city, but there's a reason why... it's far from the city center, it's inside a commercial buiding, the service is rather poor (staff doesn't care, no welcoming,....), no towel included, you need to pay for it. Despite the curtains on bed, there's very little privacy, the place is small. It's noisy, the entrance is right next of the room I was and people were staying there speaking and laughing loudly (including a staff woman).... the living room was used by the staff as a dryer for bed linens (I never saw something like that before). The beds are very tired and noisy (everytime you move a little, it makes some noise), the bed linen doesn't even fit correctly the mattress in my case. There's only two showers for all the people in that place... Maybe the only good part was the wifi that was working fairly well and was free at least. So yeah, it might be cheap but it's worth the price, don't expect a better value for money than other places....

Great place. Really nice communal areas which are great for meeting people. Good kitchen/cooking facilities too.
