Nice unique property for remote location. We enjoyed the stay as its close to the Waitomo Glowworm cave.

Simple but clean accommodation. Stayed in an upstairs room with a bathroom, lighting on the outdoor steps up to the room was poor at night but otherwise the room was fine for a one night stay. Friendly service at reception on arrival and departure. Had a very good fish burger at the pub next door and hubby had a very good seafood chowder.

Close to Waitomo Caves and Tomo's restaurant which was a great feed

The room was comfortable. However, we arrived late and had challenges finding a parking spot near the rooms. Also, the hotel is very close to farmland. I was woken up very early to cows wanting breakfast.

Clean and friendly

Great place to stay when visiting Waitomo Cave region. Close to a few places to eat, but not much around the area otherwise.

Good location to visit the glowworm caves. Nice log cabin style accommodation. Clean but sign's of being tired. Basic provisions although you could use the communal kitchen. Ate at the lical pun Tomo eatery which was excellent.

Walking distance from restaurants; close drive to cave attractions.

Lovely owners, clean and quiet. If not wanting to walk upstairs check with motel directly for your options as some rooms are upstairs.

Fabulous location for visiting the caves. Good clean and spacious room. It would have been nice to have more than one chair in a room with 5 beds but fortunately there were plenty of beds to sit on. Great views!

Very close to Waitomo caves. Good restaurant next door - we had a great dinner there. Friendly staff. Very basic accommodations - all you need for a night.

Great family run chalet.

Neat and tidy property. Clean. Owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Would be great to get the cafe up and running again, but the Tomo pub and eatery next door had good food!
