We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with the overall experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was very friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions.

Couldn’t have chosen a better place! It was great to relax at the premises of this amazing guesthouse and the room was not only super clean but also very modern and comfortable. I truly appreciated the views of the farm horses from the balcony. Felt like home, very peaceful. Check in was flowless and the owner was very welcoming. Amazing breakfast. Exceptional stay which I’d highly recommend!!!

Patrick fixed and served the morning meal and he was delightful. We met the owner and enjoyed a great conversation with him. Patrick gave us dry bread to feed the horses. This is an incredible horse breeding and training Farm. The horses were absolutely beautiful! The downside was… There seemed to be a musty smell everywhere in the house that we went.

Exceptional presentation, gorgeous surroundings and comfortable room

We stayed in the private apartment for three nights. The location is great for exploring the South Coast. We could have easily stayed here longer as there is so much to see and do within an hour or so of drive. The apartment was roomy and well equipped. We had a full kitchen with a little dishwasher. We had beautiful views of the horse farm, and mountains in the distance. There was also a river behind the farm.

Lovely stay on an equestrian centre. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable with an enormous upstairs sitting room with tea and coffee available. Breakfast was adequate but convenient. It was lovely to see the Icelandic horses outside the window and to be able to visit the stables to meet them up close.

Our cottages were good. Having a kitchen & dining area made it more spacious and we were able to make our own hot breakfast. It’s on a nice farm. Would recommend this property.

Ármót Guesthouse was a perfect place for our first night in Iceland. There was 3 of us travelling and we each had our own room in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed with a bonus view of the horse fields. The area was quiet and all instructions for entering the self check in cabin were clear. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This place was a gem of a find! Loved it! The room was very spacious and we had one with a private bathroom which was a really nice bathroom. There are several common areas where you can sit and relax as well as areas outside. Loved seeing the horses. They let you go into the stables as well which is amazing. One of the most comfortable sleeps we had on our vacation. We found a restaurant just at 15 minute drive away to Hvolsvollur and ate at Svo which was good. Highly recommend Armot Guesthouse to anyone travelling in Iceland!!

Horse property was impressive and beautiful.

Great stay at this farm, horses in the stable and behind the unit in pasture, and sheep dropping by for a visit too. Great for a family of 3, including proper kitchen and laundry.

The breakfast provided was plentiful and the staff was kind and helpful. We loved the remoteness and quiet time this gave us. I honestly wish we hadn't been so busy. I would have loved to have more time to relax there.

Absolutely loved our stay at Armot! The unit was clean, comfortable and came with necessary essentials upon arrival. The neighborhood was lovely. The Lupins were in full bloom all around the property. Absolutely magical. Loved visiting the horses in the stables. We would def stay here again if we come back to Iceland!
