Our favorite hotel in Europe. Great ambiance and a wonderful staff (always eager to help) in a unique hotel - oldest in Madrid - all combine to make for a wonderful experience.

Great hotel within walking distance of plenty of attractions. Didn’t have to use transportation during entire stay, except for coming in from airport. Concierge and other staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. Everyone was soooo nice.

Our stay was perfect, Prince was very welcoming & the whole staff couldn't do more for us - booking restaurants, organising trips, catering to all our needs - I didnt think Hotels existed like these any more but they do! Restaurant food outstanding & reasonably priced.

Lovely hotel but despite having a quiet room, noise was an issue. The room had a locked ajoining door to another room which at 3am had a noisy guest talking on their phone after a night out. TV had a poor signal and coffee machine didnt work. That said, staff were great, hotel beautiful but just spoilt by an inconsiderate guest.

Knowing it was my special day, the hotel surprised me with a delicious cake—a small but incredibly considerate detail that truly reflects their hospitality. It’s moments like these that make a place memorable. The overall atmosphere feels very Spanish—warm, welcoming, and full of life. If you’re looking for a hotel where service is personal, the staff genuinely cares, and every detail is handled with efficiency and kindness, this is the place to be.

From the moment our taxi drew up to the moment we left we had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel. It is in a great location with lots of great restaurants and shops steps away. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Loved every moment!

We always stay at Hotel Gran Inglés - it’s our favorite place to stay in Madrid. Staff and amenities are always top notch.

Excellent family stay in center of Madrid. Hotel was quiet despite being centrally located. They accommodated our early check in requests and beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was very effective in Madrid heat. Rooms were spotless and modern and staff was very friendly with excellent front desk and concierge support. Will definitely return.

Lovely hotel but you should know that it is surrounded by buildings on three sides and so most of the rooms face a wall. Also, given how much they charge for the nightly rate, it is absolutely baffling to me that they charged me for the coffee and tea in the room. yes. In the room. I stay in lots of rooms and I have never been charged for that ever and it feels petty. The staff all said it was the general managers fault and thast he wont listen to customer feedback that they tell him. strange, Anyway, it was a decent stay. But I am pretty sure there is much better value in Madrid when you are willing to spend more than 500 Euros a night. Next time Four Seasons
