Great place has everything you need!

Close to ferry terminal. Easy to find. Very friendly and helpful Proprietor. I left early for the ferry so I didnt get to have scones for breakfast. Nextvyime, Ill book aclater ferry.

We arrived on the Ferry and could not get transportation to the hotel. No Ubers in Picton and we couldn't get a taxi to pick us up either. A nice man who worked at the Ferry dock ended up giving us a ride to the hotel. The next morning, the owner graciously gave us a ride to the Airport to pick up our rental car.

This is a really quirky property. Starts at the front door. Super convienient for catching the ferries. Basically 150 metres away, but you hear no port noise. Loved the stay and booked it for when we are leaving the South Island as well. Very freindly and helpful staff. Free breKfasts are a good bonus.

Sadly we didnt stay longer, arriving fairly late and catching the early morning ferry. However, its an interesting, slightly quirky, warm and hospitable place, and we'd recommend it. Its also in sight of and a short walk or drive of the ferry terminal.

Very nice Kitchen area and sitting rooms. Our room while smallish had everything we needed. Very nice Owners.

We had a great stay at the Tombstone motel! The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, very nice rec room. The staff was very helpful and had great suggestions for the area.

Fun place, room was clean and quiet. Recommend staying a couple of days to enjoy the atmosphere and amenities

A well organized motel with multiple separate seating areas with couches, a large shared kitchen and beautiful surroundings. Quirky in a good way. Fresh bread and scones in the morning.

We were only there for one night & it was perfect for a quick stop. Clean, tidy, friendly staff. Great!

Good room for the price, but you get what you pay for. The mattress was hard, the room itself was very small, and the way the toilet and shower happened to be arranged right next to the front door is quite bizarre actually. Very nice area for cooking your own food downstairs. Also, nice rooms for lounging around in.

Fantastic motel with fantastic hosts. Another open plan, help yourself to anything place. No food or drink allowed in rooms but there is a huge kitchen and dining area and outside and multiple lounges, games rooms, studies, music rooms and hot tub. Guitars and a piano, table tennis, pool table and dartboard to play with as well.

Good place with friendly hosts. Basic but more than enough for an overnight stay.

Beautiful location and easy to get to from the ferry terminal

The host at reception was friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were clean, private and comfortable. The location of the lodge was very convenient for exploring Picton. I was able to park my rental car in a safe place

Lovely stay in queen room with harbour view. Very quiet although noise from port can be disturbing early morning. Lovely property which is well kept and cared for. Some officious rules with food in rooms and lounges but understand why.

Awesome backpacker and hostel. Nikki and Gary are the perfect hosts/owners.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room exceeded my expectations for a backpackers! And the host made fresh scones in the morning! Such a lovely place and lovely people.
