Kitchen, toilet and the room itself is very tidy and clean and smells good not musky or having old smell. Cuttleries, microwave, fridge are very clean. We can see the cupboards are well maintained and not even a single trace of roach or pest infestation which we have seen in other accomodations we have stayed with. Chexkin was very organised. Definitely highly recommended to anyone travelling and wanting to stay in the area.

Not quite in town and not quite on the beach or lake however the hotel is in a quiet, comfortable and very pleasant location when visiting the south coast of NSW. The venue has a rustic charm that blends in nicely with the township.

Lovely spacious room, very neat and tidy. Heater wasn’t working so staff gave us a portable one and it kept us nice and warm. Shower head could do with a replacement and water pressure wasn’t great but it was hot. Overall a great stay. We will recommend and definitely come back.

Clean and comfortable, everything we needed. Nothing wrong, just a bit outdated, which was fine for us. Pleasant helpful staff.

Friendly staff

We found the bed to be old and quite uncomfortable. Creaked every time you moved. The shower was small but sufficent. It was ok for a short stay but would not want it to have been a week.

Facilities were good, room very clean & comfortable. Plentiful parking & easy access.

Very convenient for a short stay in Culburra. Checkin/checkout was fantastic. Recommended.

It’s a nice place

We stayed on our Sydney to Melbourne coastal road trip. It is in a small community that is conveniently located near beaches. It is family-owned and run. The owners were friendly and made our stay great.

The room was very clean. Two adults and two teenagers were very comfortable in there. The amenities, such as dinnerware, large fridge, toaster, microwave were very convenient. The only thing that could have been better was the supplies. There were no additional toilet paper rolls. We only had 2 towels between the 4 of us. When we went to get more, the office was closed. Apart from that, the stay was great. PS - we did not get the beach experience because of the heavy rains all day.
