This was a perfect stay for a conference at the Palacio. It was clean and pretty quiet actually for being near the plaza. I arrived after midnight but had communicated with the staff prior and they were so helpful so I could self-checkin after hours. Thank you!

Great place to stay as it is located in a vantage point in the city

The room was very clean, excellent location to explore the city, the staff was very nice warm and accommodating, definitely a place to stay again.

Perfect, central location, decent room and bathroom. The only issue was with access to the hotel. When I arrived at about 11pm hotel was closed despite advertised 24 hour reception. It was difficult to get in touch with a person who provided me with access code. The code should have been sent with one of the messages I received from the hotel before arrival.

Great location to explore the city! Staff super helpfull and friendly. Also near good parking options (Muelle about 400m for 10euros per day).

Amazing location off main plaza! Ten min. walk from train station. Bring earplugs. Front desk friendly and helpful. Towels were thick, but beds a little firm. Lots of hot water, large closet, and outlets by beds. Luggage storage. Keypad entry. Reason for 4 stars: 1. Not soundproof 2. No English 3. The twin room was sold out, so I was forced to book a triple room for a higher price; but when we checked in, we were given the tiny twin room for the price of the triple. When I asked the front desk about it, he said he couldn't move us to a triple room, and he couldn't refund the difference. 4. Cannot flush toilet paper 5. No sign to label the substance in the shower. We didn't know if it was soap or shampoo. 6. No liquid hand soap at sink 7. Dated bedding; need fluffy duvets 8. Only 1 long pillow on twin beds which left a hard wooden headboard to put your head against if you wanted to sit up in bed. (Need 2 pillows.) 9. Room too small to have 2 carry-on suitcases open on the floor.

Rooms need an update and there is too much noise

Friendly Manager who checked me in early. It’s got a lift and the room on level 1 with own bathroom was very comfortable. Only a five minutes flat walk to the train station there are also dozens of restaurants and cafes nearby. A great central location to explore the city.

Great location

Great location. Clean and simple stay. Very good value for £100 a night when many were much more expensive. Good air con, nice light from the window and a powerful shower. Two single beds were comfy. It’s not a ‘hostel’ as brits would understand, it’s a hotel. Doesn’t have any extras like breakfast, gym as you are so central load of bar and restaurant options within mins (and gyms for €5 a day). Good wi fi.

Staff was kind and helpful. Left our luggage at the place after. Checked in earlier. The mattress and bed linen ok but the bed frame was kind of broken

I liked how close it was to the train station and the main sites in town.

Unbeatable for the price. Small but adequate room, very silent because it looked to an interior shaft. And it had a/c. Right at the center of the historic town.
