The Hunt Room was a great place to eat and the staff is excellent hotel-wide.

This hotel is lovely. We loved our elegant and charming room and public spaces!

I can’t say enough great things about The Cavalier. It is TRULY remarkable. One of a kind. Of all the hotels I have stayed in WORLD WIDE The Cavalier is simply the best. THE BEST!

Beautiful hotel and great amenities! Room service was slow, but the food was excellent!

Thursday through Saturday nights are terrible. The band is loud that you can hear it on the 5th floor, literally. Management doesn’t care. One manager was friendly, it others were terrible. Valet is just as bad. 20 minutes waiting in line to park the car to check in. Will not book here again for business or otherwise. Nice accommodations and remodel, but bad operations and decisions. Left a day early just to stay somewhere else and they didn’t refund my last night.

It was amazing. Everyone from valet parking to checking out went above and beyond.

Incredibly expensive once you factor in lots of extra fees, such as a resort fee, (even in the off season when you can't use the pool or other extra amenities near the beach), onsite parking at $32/day, and no streaming services were available for guests, movies were $20 and the only thing available. The worst part was the live music that apparently happens every Thursday night until 11, and had our second floor room shaking until I finally called and complained. (If there's live music request a room on the third floor or up.) I was very disappointed overall with the experience.

Historic structure and facilities was very cool... Especially the lounge and tavern areas. Smartly updated, but kept the core old school feel.

If you want to impress someone, this is the place! I did for my gorgeous wife on Valentines Day!

The hotel needs some improvements after almost the 7- year operating... at the Becca restaurant - service used to be better - the more diners the less attention to the particular needs of a guest...

While the property was very nice, the greeting staff in the Hunt Room were RUDE!!! And the Raleigh Room was out of wine glasses and the bar tenders could not have cared less! In addition, the waiter in the Raleigh Room insisted on us providing a credit card - when we had been told at checkin we would not need anything besides our "keys" the entire stay - which equates to substandard service. The bar tender in the Becca was wonderful! However, at breakfast in the Becca there were workers doing drilling repair work - not what you expect in a fine dining room.

Everything was 5 Star service. I would like to let the staff know how much I appreciated them contributing to this 5 Star experience.🏆👏👏👏

Great stay post wedding in Williamsburg. Had a great braised short rib beef dip in the Hunt Room with a nice Old Fashioned cocktail. Celebrated at Orion's Rooftop Top where the view made up for a bit too pricey dinner Would definitely stay again

Made to feel special by the staff! Very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful restaurants with excellent food.

First time staying. Just joined friends for a celebration overnight. Loved the food and service. Great room with a view. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
