This hotel is a mixed bag. While the rooms are excellent the reception is not staffed (i.e. self check-in). This is not too bad if you check in normally (after 15:00) but if you are early, like most international travelers, the automated system can't find your reservation. So bag drop is difficult. There is a security camera at the desk but no instruction on how to use it. If you press the 'door bell' a person will show up after a couple of minutes. She was very helpful and courteous but why she is not stationed at the check-in desk is beyond me. This is a large hotel and more than once I came across lost travelers trying to figure out how to check in or drop bags.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to the central train station. There is also a large supermarket about 5 minutes away. They have a restaurant and bike rental but good luck finding a person that can help you with those.
All in all the check-in is creepy and leaves you wondering if the hotel is business or not since there is no one to welcome you.
