We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay.

Location right by the sea and acres to the Home of Christian Dior

Bed confortable - room deco very depressing (dark). No kettle to make tea or coffee, no fridge with drinks (?) and very hot only one small window to open. 1 receptionist was polite but the other one not welcoming at all. I tried to contact Hotel a week in advance to ask to change from 2 persons to one - every time I called the phone was put down. I tried to explain situation when I arrived but did not try to help me eventhough i paid a double room for only me. Lastly I had to wait 3 pm to get my room. A long time to wait after a long trip.

Hotel is just along from the buses which is great. Not far from all the shops and market. The two receptionist are lovely and helpful. Only thing is the noise of the many seagulls on the roofs.

Even it is an old renovated hotel, it is very nice. I like that they have a restaurant on site. I like the location. Unfortunately, there is no parking. Public parking may be free but not available almost all the time. Taxi is not available without prior reservation. WiFi is a huge problem for iPhone users. No internet connection at all.

First room offered was still dirty then came up with superior room the last one they had there is lots better out there

An ok hotel to stay for a night

Hotel is very well situated in the town centre, but this can make parking a bit challenging. Friendly staff and a really nice breakfast.

Traveling for Daks over Normandy events. Had the best time throughout Normandy coast.

Brilliant see views, double aspect room was great. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Very little lighting in the room.

Selve hotellet var pænt og med fantastisk udsigt og placering lige ved stranden. Vær opmærksom på, at der ikke er aircondition eller en loftfane, og at man om sommeren pga. varmen er nødt til at sove med åbent vindue. dette er ikke et problem i sig selv, men blev meget problematisk, da der ligger en natklub over for hotellet, og der derfor er en del larm fra gaden sent om natten. Vi blev forstyrret flere gange af personale, der bankede på døren og spurgte til rengøring til trods for, at vi havde hængt et "forstyr ikke"-skilt på døren. Ellers venlig betjening og pænt værelse med lækkert badeværelse og rigeligt plads.

The location couldn't be better. The hotel is right on the water and the rooms are nice. Our room was quiet and we had a wonderful view. Lunch was superb but breakfast was sparse and disappointing. I was surprised that the eggs weren't boiled. You're provided with raw eggs to deal with first thing in the morning. The selection of cheeses was 2. No honey. Parking is not available. You are instructed to drop your bags at the curb and find something on the street or near the port. We were assured that parking at the port is safe because of the police station there. However, this entails getting a cab or hoofing it which can be tiring especially when traveling with pets or children. If you want a lovely hotel with nice views and great lunches, this is the place. Pets are welcome so we were very grateful to have the booking, but the lack of parking was stressful.

Initially reception unable to find our reservation. Told could park on street for free. Failed to point out that opposite was restricted parking, so we got a ticket! Agree we should have read signs, but it would not have taken much effort for restriction to have been pointed out. Carpet in room very sticky. Nice restaurant in hotel. Many other nice restaurants within easy walking distance.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous descendons dans cet hôtel. À chaque fois nous avons pris une chambre vue mer. La première fois la chambre était très correcte. Cette fois ci la chambre était minuscule. Salle de bain équivalente à un placard. Les chambres vue mer ne sont pas toutes pareilles. Mais au même tarif !

Magnifique sejour de découverte de Granville malgré pluie et vent très frais. Beaucoup de très bons restaurants.
