Location close to Braga... Old hotel that has been renovated... 1 elevator is not working... Spacious and comfortable rooms... Elegant old hotel type... Friendly staff.

Placed in a room with a smoking area, so the smell of smoke was bad. Complained, and they tried to solve it with odour spray, but it didn't work. All the furniture and bed sheets are old.

In March 2026, it is under renovation. Hopefully, in the future, every room will be more comfortable, because the condition of the room and its contents are starting to look worn out, too old😢

The room was okay... but it didn't live up to its star rating. It was clean, but the building was so old that it felt dated.

The location is OK, but the hotel comfort is very lacking, there is only 1 lift access and cleanliness is not well maintained.

1. The location is very strategic if you want to go to Braga, Jl. Asia Afrika is very close… 2. The hotel is very old and the furniture inside needs to be replaced and a lot of improvements, this hotel should not be a 5 star anymore, it should be downgraded to a 3 star hotel. 3. The food is quite varied, okay. 4. My husband's jeans were left in the closet when checking out, the items were sent but the money in my husband's pocket was no longer there.

First time staying at the Grand Hotel Preanger, the oldest hotel in Bandung but still well maintained, recently renovated, bright, friendly staff, originally bought a deluxe type, upgraded to a suite, the room is really big, really cool, there is a bath tub, my son really liked it, so it is close to the road but not noisy, the bed is comfortable, lots of parking, basically want to come back again if I go to Bandung, the museum is being renovated.

Recommended, but unfortunately it's under renovation so access to the swimming pool is limited and the museum area is closed. I'll try to come back next time because I'm curious about the museum.

Many of the cutlery, including bowls, glasses and spoons, smelled fishy.

For a very strategic location, the service is good, especially the gentleman who delivered the items to the room was very friendly, but the bathroom door was broken and difficult to close, the path to the swimming pool is confusing, there should be a name for the path to the swimming pool so you don't get lost.

A massive renovation is needed to enhance comfort and stay experience

The closet and shower are outdated and look dirty, the bathroom door is also less secure, and the food variety is very limited.

The hotel didn't live up to expectations. The roof is low, moldy, and the TV won't show regular channels. The carpet is a bit musty. Access to Braga and the nearby town square is limited. The food is too mediocre. Overall, I don't think it's a 5-star hotel. Hopefully, it can improve.

Rooms in low-floor building are pretty old and without proper maintenance—hallway carpet is dirty, hole in ceiling, etc. Knowing that renovation is in progress, hope it gets better in the future. Otherwise, not worth the price...

Less responsive in the reception area, but security is very good.

Old but gold. A little advice: the room quality needs to be improved. Even though the hotel is old, it still has to maintain standards. Some of the sofas and pillowcases have holes. Not a big issue, but still need improvement! Love!

The room is not comfortable, if the AC is off the carpet smells musty.

Even though we knew we were going to stay in an old hotel, our expectations were far from it. The hotel was not well maintained and the staff didn't really care.
