Lovely clean hotel located in quiet area, good atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food. I’ve stayed at this hotel four times now and must say each time I’ve left feeling so relaxed lovely place can’t wait to go back.

The staff were lovely and helpful but we had two family rooms and felt it was overpriced it was fairly basic next step up from travel lodge but definitely not premier inn over priced as breakfast not included and thought it was we always check breakfast included it got us somewhere to sleep wouldn't go back

The property is quite clean and easily accessible.

Fantastic service, as a lone female I asked for a room near the entrance. Not only was this sorted easily, they also showed me the room number rather than saying it out loud for people to over hear. Fantastic room, staff - highly recommend m

Good location close to major roads for access around Shropshire. Good friendly staff and varied food menu and drinks.

Great rooms and excellent adjacent restaurant.

Overall the stay was fine although can be noisy if you are located on the ground floor.

We had a lovely stay in a really lovely hotel. Room very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. We had a family party there and the food for their buffet was delicious and plenty of it. Later that evening we had a meal there and Was delicious. Again breakfast was great and plenty of choice. All the staff at each of the stages of our day were friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Will be visiting again when we are in the area visiting relatives.

Great for the cost

We were only here for one night for a wedding nearby, and the stay was fine. All the staff we spoke to between check-in and leaving were polite and helpful. The pub was good to meet with friends and have a quick bite to eat before heading to the wedding, and they have respectable selection of beers on draught. The room was comfortable enough, nothing flash, just a functional room with the essentials. Importantly the bed was comfy. So all in all, the Fallow Field is a good option for a stopover of you are in the area.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were perfectly acceptable for the price point. Although there’s no front desk at the hotel itself — you need to collect the key from the pub across the street — this wasn’t a major issue and the process was straightforward. The room was surprisingly spacious given the price, and there was even a small play area nearby which was great for kids to burn off some energy. Free parking was also a big plus, with plenty of spaces available. All in all, I’d recommend this place, especially for families or anyone looking for a good budget-friendly stay.
