Our recent stay at Sonesta Maho all inclusive was unfortunately marred by significant hygiene and service concerns. A pervasive and unpleasant sewage odor was noticeable throughout the property, including the hallways, pool areas, and even on our balcony, which greatly detracted from the overall experience.
Furthermore, the dining experience was disappointing. We found the food to be largely tasteless, and its presentation raised serious sanitation concerns, particularly with uncovered serving containers for milk and visible flies around the buffet. The 'bottom-shelf' liquor selection also diminished the quality of the all-inclusive offering.
Service, regrettably, fell short of expectations, with staff generally appearing unfriendly. While daily room cleaning was provided, the floors remained consistently dirty, and the bathroom exhibited noticeable mold, further compromising our comfort.
