The hotel was great. Great hospitality and staff. It is easy to get to the hotel and it’s quite near to Blok M.

Many of the plugs were unusable. Cockroaches were still present in the rooms, requiring further cleaning and hygiene. The Wi-Fi connection also occasionally dropped out.

The hotel staff is friendly, but the cleanliness is lacking, it's dusty.

Located right next to a large night food court, near bus and tram stops, but you should research payment methods as cashless transactions are not accepted. Supermarkets and shops are only a few hundred meters away, but finding local breakfast options is difficult. Only a few places open from 8:30 AM onwards. The room is tidy but old, and includes bottled water and tea. The bathroom has shampoo, body wash, bar soap, and a toothbrush (which is a bit stiff). The staff are very polite and always proactively greet guests. Overall, I'd rate it slightly above 3 stars.

The lights often go out and there are lots of small cockroaches, and the water is always dirty.

They say it's scary, but I'm fine here. No worries, everyone. Stay safe and peaceful.

Quiet even in the middle of the city

Upon arrival at the Ambhara Hotel lobby, I was greeted by friendly and kind security guards. I also arrived at the reception, where I was greeted by Mr. Bobby and other friendly receptionists.

The hotel is dirty, there are many small cockroaches both in the room and in the dining area. The staff is okay.

The room was not very clean, there was a lot of dust and dirt.

AC is cold. Sleep well. The room is very clean. Just cross the road to block M.

The room is nice. The staff is also friendly. I will be back here again. Thank you very much.

Towels weren't provided in the room, so we had to call housekeeping, and their delivery took a while. There were no drinks in the refrigerator. There wasn't even a welcome note or fruit, even though we booked a junior suite, not a regular/standard room. The toilet was too small and the flush wasn't powerful enough. Check-in also took a while, as the receptionist seemed new.

Staying at Ambhara Blok M was one of the best decisions I made during my vacation. Friendly and helpful staff, easy access to Blok M within walking distance, and many good things more. Thank you very much to all Ambhara team members that made my stay memorable. I didn't remember all the names, although I remember only Ms. Alda at reception who was really helpful. Hopefully, next year I can come and stay again!
