My family and I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. Here are some points I'll share:
1. I booked two rooms. When booking, I requested connecting rooms and a queen bed. When I checked in, the front office found that connecting rooms weren't available for the room type I booked. When I entered the room, the bed was a twin bed, with no explanation given during check-in. The front office didn't even ask for the bed type.
2. It was terrible once I entered the room. Some of the walls were damaged, and the bathroom had rotting wood visible. The glass in the room was very dirty. And worst of all, the shower drain didn't drain properly, even flooding. I'll share photos. I understand that every hotel has some rooms that are unsuitable or in need of maintenance. But what's really unfortunate is why they should be offered to guests? Meanwhile, I checked the room next door, where my children were staying. There were no visible damage, and room 2319 even had a safe. The telephone in the room was also broken and couldn't be used. My suggestion is that room 2317 cannot be offered to guests until Sahid management has fixed everything.
3. The swimming pool facilities are very uncomfortable because Sahid's swimming pool is open to the public. For me, staying with children for a long time, I felt uncomfortable with the crowded public pool.
4. The security and bellmen were very friendly and helpful. They showed a kind gesture to the guests and were also very aware of their surroundings.
5. The fried rice at the breakfast buffet on January 9th was delicious. I forgot the chef's name, but it was delicious. Thank you.
It would be a shame for Sahid, a well-known name, not to take this seriously. Moreover, Sahid Properties is more than just a hotel.
Thank you.
