The conservatory was really relaxing and comfortable staff always at hand and polite rooms quit nice and comfortable beds rooms very quickly cleaned done by the time you had breakfast plenty of choice of breakfast great hotel all round

A wonderful place to stay

Loved our stay at the Lakeside hotel. The staff was very warm and friendly. The view of the lake was magnificent

Stayed here for a couple of days over the Easter break. I booked for the views over Windermere which were stunning but there is so much more. Really liked this hotel, I love the blend of modern and period pieces, a really nice feel to the place. Lots of lovely areas in the hotel to enjoy and relax, the brasserie, conservatory and gardens. Breakfast was also delicious in the restaurant, very pleasant. All the staff without exception were polite, smiley and professional and a credit to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again, loved it!

Disappointed. Room (Lakeview Suite) needed a bit of an upgrade. Bed slanted. Dinner was quite nice. Service was odd. Breakfast was awful and service wasn’t great. Check in and out was just weird as staff were throwing things at each other and mucking about. Car park is public access and we found people taking photos sat on our car bonnet! It’s not cheap at £300 pn. Expected slightly better condition, fridge/minibar would have been good. Windows which open.

Me and my fiancé stayed at Lakeside hotel for 2 nights, overall was very good experience. Room was comfortable and has a nice view, Staff are friendly, food were very nice.

Great location on the lake. Restaurant need more variety and price . Staff helpful and pleasant but clearly most very new and bring trained .

Excellent hotel. Staff very accommodating. Bedrooms beautiful and clean. Bathroom spacious. We had a lakeside room and the view was lovely. Pool and spa area lovely too, with excellent changing rooms. Gardens well kept, with plenty of seats to have an afternoon drink or just an hour relaxing and reading. Cannot recommend enough. Will definately consider on our next trip to the lakes.

Great location near the lakeside boat stop and lovely views. Parking was included and not too far away. Staff were always friendly and the hotel had some nice touches like a kids goody bag, duck food and the pool area. My only issues were that the lift was unreliable which made a difference to us with older relatives and the evening food options were limited and pretty expensive. I would probably stay again though as overall it was very positive.

Very relaxing

We both had a lovely time and want to thank all the staff. A special thank you for the card and bar of chocolate for my girlfriends birthday.

The communal areas of the hotel are modern and stunning. The bedroom we were initially put in was very shabby and dated. I complained as I'd booked the hotel for a special occasion and thankfully the lady on reception was really lovely and moved us to a new room which was stunning.

A super location with friendly staff

The food was delicious and the service was excellent

Dinner was expensive £26 for a 3" by 2" piece of fish on a cup full of some stewed veg? Duvet was very heavy, some staff where surly and looked p×××ed off. £14 for an egg mayonnaise sandwich whose bread was on the turn and nit fresh. Reception staff andhouse keeping girls were lovely

Stop over on the way to Scotland. Only sorry we didn’t book longer. Bar staff and dining staff were extremely polite and helpful particularly. Breakfast was good and we were accommodated for nicely with plant based options. Thanks so much can’t wait to come back!
