Couple big flights of stairs to get there. Made it a little hard with the bags and kids. Rooms have been recelty renovated. The pub and liquor store is just downstairs. I think putting an elevator would bring me back but otherwise id go somewhere else.

I have stayed at the Northwood Plaza about a dozen times. I have always had a great experience. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, towels are clean. This stay however was not as fortunate. Our suite smelled grossly of fish. We checked the fridge, mircrowave, drawers, bathroom and bedroom to see where it was coming from. The smell was largely in the open living room area. The bedroom and bathroom were not as bad, but overall not enjoyable. No amount of opening windows, air conditoning and leaving the door open for airflow helped the situation. Upon checkout, the staff at the front did not seem to care or understand our disappointment. I suggested they look into the matter befire someone else has to deal with the same problem. He nodded his head in agreement and we left. Pretty disappointed with our stay, there were no other rooms to switch to and it was too late at night to pack up and find another hotel nearby our event.

Pretty clean and quiet

The only part of our room that was visibly clean was the bathroom thankfully. We were there multiple nights. There rarely was staff at the front desk. No housekeeping service. When you did find staff at the desk and asked for an extra towel they could not give it to you until the next day when the cleaning staff arrived. We were in a suite room. The loveseat was so badly in need of a shampooing that we took the duvet off the bed and put it on the loveseat before we sat on it. I would not recommend this hotel.

Bath tub was getting flooded. Hallway doesn’t smells good Room are clean but little old and smells a bit overall didn’t like this

Even though there is a pub which had a live band on the main level, you could not hear the noise in the room. The size of the room was much larger than more pricey hotels in the city. Will go back for sure and will take in more time in the pub.

I like the quiet I did not like certain drug people who sometimes frequent the hotel.

Ok bit of a drive from downtown don't expect room service or anything to be replenished if tou stay more then one day No room services between night's ,one tiny drpp of anything on the bedding and expect to loose your deposit If your just passing by it ok but not good for more then one night

I enjoyed my stay and the place was clean. I just wasn’t comfortable sleeping on the bed.

Noisy pub and banquet room. Room smelled like stale cigarettes. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower and bathroom were fine. It’s a cheap place to sleep and worked ok.

It’s good

I have been traveling across canada since last week. I arrived late; 1030pmish. Went straight to bed. Woke up to start my journey, had a shower and discovered there was only 1 towel. No biggie, i just wont wash my hair. (Its down to my bottom)..i slept great...left and a couple hours later i received a phone call...i didnt recognize the number then a text message came in...pretty much accusing me of stealing the towels from the hotel. Apparently i was supposed to complain when my room only had 1 towel. Sorry not an efin Karen! I did have a great sleep and i will probably stay there again as the price was great.

Bath tub would be great with handle bars for support getting in and out….especially for older people.
