Nice clean room, very spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent tea and coffee (pods). Only slight concern was the fan in the room had gathered some dust, but we didn't have to use it. Bathroom was lovely and spacious, excellent shower. We had lunch and breakfast, both lovely (breakfast was superbly cooked!) Very helpful staff and a wonderful picturesque location. Only a word of warning, if possible, try not to park under tress... Car will be covered in bird doodoos next day! Very highly recommended hotel.

This is our third visit to The Fox, lovely food, staff and accommodation, would recommend.

A beautiful room. Wonderful staff who are friendly and go the extra mile. Breakfast and dinner were excellent it is not worth leaving to find better food. Will come back whenever we are in this area. A great experience all round.

The Fox is a perfect place to stay. Close to Winchester yet far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. The rooms are large and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent.

Too many stairs.

The breakfast selection is excellent, fresh produce and lots to choose from. No skimping on the amount served. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The roo was very hot as the heating was on and no thermostat in the room to turn down.

Beautiful pub and rooms in a stunning village. The staff were so friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the price is really reasonable - we'll definitely be back 😊

Excellent breakfast & all food. Lots of parking

Easy to get to, tasty food. Evening staff both fab, morning person not as much. Bedroom and bathroom lovely size and biscuits/tea generous. Slept well, though the radiators were rather hot and I didn’t know how to turn them down. Evening food delicious but morning breakfast could have been better; toast came out cold. Breakfast is slightly weird in that it’s not a self-serve, you get drinks brought to you from the options you circled on a menu from the previous night. Parking was easy but driveway very bendy and narrow at points! Breakfast staff seemed rather snooty and when I asked for help, she told me that I should have known how to enter/exit the doors with my fob, as I was shown the previous night, when in fact I wasn’t. Overall, a good stay but not sure I’d return based on the above points. Breakfast let the stay down.

We stayed here for 2 nights and what a lovely stay fab staff and very clean I would recommend the food in the restaurant absolutely 5** will definitely stay again very pritty place.

Large, very clean room. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Nice toilet products to use. Plentiful, tea, coffee and biscuits provided as well as a small fridge with bottled water. Attractive restaurant with a good range of menu options. Ate there 2 nights and the food was very good. Some excellent desserts too! Breakfast was also very good and flexible options. All of the staff were very polite, helpful and always happy to offer advice on local area. Their breakfast manager was incredibly knowledgeable and even shared info on the best places to park n Winchester and how to get there etc. she was a font of knowledge and had guides galore to share. Highly recommend a stay in this lovely hotel in a quiet hamlet. There is a 2-3 minute walk to the small pond with ducks and herons if you want a gentle stroll too!

Beautiful location in lovely village. Excellent good - the breakfast was perhaps the nicest I’ve ever had. Staff so attentive and friendly.
