Room was lovey and spacious and although above a pub it was nice and quiet. Only negative was the main light had a night glow which was quite bright especially with no blackout blinds so room wasn’t dark enough.

Last minute decision to stop overnight in Carmarthen rather than pressing on to Bristol on our way back to Sussex. Turned out to be a great decision- lovely, cosy bright room (looks like possibly recently refurbished.) Had a light snack and a drink in the bar - very tasty! Staff really friendly and welcoming, and the location is great, right on the main street with free overnight parking close by. (Need to move to the paid car park from 0900.) Would definitely stay again!

As the hotel has no parking, it would useful for the hotel to provide information about parking nearby. The dinner and breakfast were average, not as good as we expected, The room was fine and the staff very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Carmarthen from the 4th to 8th June! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless nothing was too much trouble for the cleaners! Room was very small but well organised. While the noise from the pub downstairs was barely discernible, the noise from other guests returning to their rooms was loud.

IT WAS GREAT EXPERIENCE TO STAY THREE NIGHTS IN ROSE AND CROWN. HOPITALITY OF STAFF, AMENITIES AND FOOD WAS HIGH STANDARD AND GOOD VALUES FOR MONEY SPENT.

The hotel was good- clean and comfortable but a noisy location as the taxi stand was right outside the window.
