Many thanks for the warm hospitality of Dev, Rosina, and Surwaz! What a gorgeous rooftop for breakfast in the morning! We did have a few moments when we couldn’t find the location of the hotel; updating the signs in the neighborhood would help. 🙏 Namaste.

I had an incredible stay at Nivas. The staff was so friendly and kind. I stayed to take the early morning bus ride to Pokhara and it was well worth it! The front desk even provided me a packed breakfast, and it was ready before I left! Room was comfortable and clean with a nice balcony. Highly recommend

Nivas Boutique hotel was the perfect place in Kathmandu to relax after our hiking holiday. The rooms were well appointed, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoying the wonderful breakfast on the rooftop was great. Being located outside pf Thamel (although not too far) we got to experience another part of Kathmandu. Our flight departed late in the evening and the staff gave us a very late check out which we were very appreciative of. Thank you

I can’t say enough good things about Surendra and his staff. They bent over backwards to make our stay a delight. The welcome was amazing; unlike any hotel experience we’ve had before. It was a welcome to their home. We were greeted with Bohdi beads, and Arrati ceremony, given tikas, a fresh cake and juice. It was wonderful. We were also give a huge room with special carved windows. Unfortunately this is on the first floor and a bit noisy but they immediately transferred us to a back room which was fantastic. We loved the comfortable beds, the nice linen and after a previous stay at another hotel, relished the rain shower with perfect hot water. There is not a lot immediately outside the hotel but it’s a short 10 minute walk to the Thamel entertainment area. Again. Thank you to Surendra and the Nivis staff. You made our stay in Kathmandu.
