The location is perfect for exploring downtown. The only issue are the doors slam easily. So during the night you can hear other guest comming and going. Other thank that, it was a very nice stay. Thanks David B

The location of the hotel is convenient to stores and bus stop 9 and 11. for the price we paid ($350 a night). There was nothing offered with it. No fridge in the room, no water. I asked the front desk for a glass if ice as there are no ice machines and I was told the kitchen was too busy The black out curtains didn’t block out the sun (we were there June 11th, so 21 hours of sun) and the way the curtain are the sun lights of the room at the top There is no AC and when opening the window we had some type of machine running. Making a lot of noise and they had a private party at the hotel so we were not able to get any food at night and they were very loud The bed make a noise every time you moved. Neither one of us sleep most of the night. I would not recommend this hotel because the lack of basic things you normally get, the mold on the wall, and the rude front desk staff.

Great location in the center of Reykjavik. Nice boutique-style with with decent size room, and plenty comfortable. Only thing lacking was coffee in the room.

Did not come with a refrigerator and as you know in Iceland everything is expensive. We had some cheeses, prosciutto, han, milk and yogurt and had to toss it as this hotel did not come with this amenity. There was absolutely no view from our window and the hallways are very dark, which does kind of add to the appeal. I would recommend center hotels over this place any day.

Lovely hotel snack in the middle of downtown, close to absolutely everything. Staff was super welcoming and accommodating allowing us to access our room before check in time. We had questions about parking and they helped us understand how it works. Lovely room. Not big but perfect and clean.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The location was absolutely ideal, close to dining, shops, attractions, and shuttle stops that took us to various excursions beyond the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and straightened up daily. Room size was a little small, but it was well designed and used its space well. Very nice bathroom, with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Staff were friendly and responsive, but not particularly outgoing. Amenities were minimal, but at this price (and in this location), that's fine. The only thing we could have used were more storage for clothing (there are no drawers) and USB chargers. The restaurant was open for breakfast, but did not appear to be open for dinner.

Incredible location. Staff is great. Right next to a discount grocery store for snacks and a million shops and restaurants. Easy walk to almost everything, including bus stops.

Clean, warm & very central - ideal for sightseeing in Rekjavik. On a lively street with lots of cafes, restaurants, & food shops (supermarket next door) For saying how central it is it wasn’t noisy. Only slight issue was the lighting in the room was quite poor. If you’re going out before light which was often in Feb there are not enough electric lights.

For reference, I stayed in February 2026.I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were, without exaggeration, the most hospitable I’ve encountered in all of my travels. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. Every interaction was warm, helpful, and sincere — they truly go above and beyond for their guests. The location and the room itself was quiet, which was such a relief. I had read several reviews mentioning noise concerns in Reykjavik, but that was absolutely not my experience here. I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, and the comforter was incredibly warm. If I had to note a couple minor improvements: a mini fridge in the room would be a great addition, and I do think it’s important for travelers to know that rooms currently do not have one. The TV channel selection was also quite limited, with only a handful of stations and very repetitive programming. That said, these are small points compared to the overall experience. The hospitality alone would bring me back without hesitation.
