Great location and very cozy. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.

Rooms remodeled and clean exterior does not give it justice

The room was super clean the bathroom well equipped and the crew were very helpful. Newly renovated and well maintained property.

Great staff, very clean and up to date, close to highway traffic

Was not very impressed with the staff. We were on our way to check into the hotel, but they wanted to charge us for the room before we even got there. I understand using a credit card to hold the room, but they wanted to fully charge our credit card before we even got there because it was there “busy season” and I think they had other people offering to pay more money for the room. So they wanted to charge our card before we even got there to take the money so they weren’t getting ripped off I guess? They made me send an email to them saying that I approved for them to use my credit card even though I physically wasn’t there yet. Not impressed. Was at risk of them cancelling my reservation if I didn’t pay up. And there was no other hotel room rooms available in the city.

Right off the highway, our room was spotless and comfortable. The property was a bit neglected but was still fine. Don’t think of trying to check in before 4:00, you will be told to come back at 4.

Clean rooms, kind staff

Very warm and welcoming staff. The room was immaculate.....very comfortable....and had all amenities needed for a great stay.

The main concern of this property is that it is NOT in Salmon arm as advertised. It is in fact about a 10 minute ride down the TransCanada Highway east of the city. It is a very clean room, but also very noisy as it is right on the highway. There are no amenities. Microwave and bar fridge, two small kitchen, chairs, and the small table. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, clean bed to sleep on, then this property will do.

Our stay was excellent! The hotel might look dated outside but the room that we stayed in was spacious and well-maintained.

Property was clean, close to center of town and easy to access. Staff friendly and responsive. Only thing that would make a stay better would be better tv selection as there are no other amenities at this motel.

Our 3 night stay at the Happy Salmon was perfect for our needs. Super clean,a nicely updated room, pleasant staff and a good price !! Yes, its by a busy highway but who doesn't travel without ear plugs ? The older A/C works very well & made for a very comfortable stay.

Very nice place at reasonable price

This is the second time staying at the Motel Happy Salmon ☺️. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very helpful and lovely. It’s our go to place to stay when in the Salmon Arm area.
