We loved our stay at the Merrill House. The property was unique, clean, and walkable to the downtown. Friendly staff and we appreciated the bottle of wine for mom’s birthday.

What a lovely property. Staff are amazing very friendly and very helpful. Although the restaurant is closed the breakfast was very good and plentiful. Would definitely recommend

My wife and I loved our stay at Merrill House. This home built in the 1800s is beautiful and unique due to its retro/modern decor. Parking is free and accessible, and this home is within walking distance of the town. Wineries are accessible by car. The host was friendly and informative and breakfast was delicious. All these factors made for a delightful one night vacation.

Really welcoming, cozy and clean vibe. Pictures are very true to what you can expect. Staff were incredibly friendly. We had an amazing 1 night stay. We will be back!

Comfortable, charming, and spotless room. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed, and the front desk is not staffed after 7PM, so it’s been a rather odd experience. The heating system apparently isn’t working properly, so suite 202 is a bit uncomfortable on this cold night. This is our third stay at Merrill House…not quite up to the previous standards.

Although we enjoyed our stay, we did not feel it met expectations, or was worth the price. The food was amazing, and setting was lovely. But some of what they had to offer was not available (cocktail lounge) and service was great but not always available. Our room was on the cold side despite turning the heat up, but I suppose part of the experience staying in a heritage home. Again, a nice experience but fell short of our expectations, and not reflective of cost.

Our stay at Merrill house was lovely. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is good parking at the back of the inn. We had a smaller room and bed was slightly soft for our liking, but we slept well. We had a delicious dinner in the dining room and I recommend if you are staying there to book at least one night for dinner. There is a lovely bar downstairs where residence of the Inn can have a drink before dinner. Good choice of wines and spirits. Overall, a wonderful stay

My parents had a fantastic time on their night away. They loved the books in the hotel and the food was delicious and they were given a special dessert.

Everything was wonderful for our evening spent here. It would have been nice to have been able to explore the house more but the dining room area was quite busy when we arrived. We loved all the personal touches that were in the room for us such as the craft sodas and the wine tasting passport. We will recommend this place to our friends to stay here when in Picton county

The breakfast in the morning is excellent. The bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was lovely. Excellent service and will return for dinner sometime.
