I had a wonderful experience at The Hampton Hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making my stay comfortable from start to finish. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm atmosphere that made me feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The location is also excellent. What stood out most was the outstanding customer service. Every member of the team was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring guests had a great experience. I would highly recommend The Hampton Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent hospitality and look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had 2 nights here a few weeks ago. We liked it very much. The rooms were clean and basic also comfortable, we slept well. The bathroom was clean and a little bigger than usual. We didn't have food here. It looks as if it's all being refurbished and it looks lovely The bar was always a bit busy with locals,( who were very welcoming ) and residents alike. Some were on the pool table, others played darts. The staff were helpful and friendly and even stored our cases for a few hours before we left. We would happily go back here. It is just a stones throw from the railway station plus it is within easy walking distance to the lake and around the town. 👍🏻

Room was absolutely freezing cold, the radiators don't work, the beds are old and the springs creaked and moaned with ever bit of movement. Shower was very small had to squeeze into it. Walls are very thin you can hear everything in adjacent room. The provided wifi kept dropping. I slept 2 floors up and could hear the bar music downstairs (wasn't very loud when you're downstairs either). There was no soap provided and no iron in the rooms. AVOID

We visited the pub here and they were so welcoming! Claire behind the bar was outstanding! Very welcoming of dogs ! Can’t recommend this place any higher absolutely amazing beer

Stayed here for 2 nights and I was super impressed. The lovely lady who checked me in was very helpful with local knowledge. Barnew and his staff played pool with me and I was made feel very welcome will definitely stay again 😁 thank you 😊
