The hotel is right in Granada street one of the main pedestrian streets in old town with walking distance to the cathedral, Alcazaba, and the castle. Parking is off site but the hotel can do it for you if you reserve parking with the booking

Best thing is the location 5 minutes to castle walk, amphitheatre. Less than that to the cathedral and Picasso museum and lovely tapas, my favourite being Casa Lola. 15 minutes to the port and beach. Negatives however are that it lacks atmosphere and so you wouldn't want to do more than sleep there.

Lovely property, stylish and clean, close to everything!

Hotel Palacio Solecio is a beautiful and stylish property in a fantastic central location. The restaurant is absolutely stunning — it feels like something straight out of the 1940s. Our room was comfortable and well-decorated, though the “outward-facing” view turned out to be directly into another window. The location makes sightseeing easy, but it also meant the room was very noisy at night, which made sleeping difficult. The bathroom looked lovely, but the shower pressure was weak and hard to regulate, and the sliding door was awkward to use in the dark. During our visit, the front of the hotel was covered in scaffolding. The pool, located in a separate building, was attractive but small, unheated, and busy, so loungers were hard to find. Service was polite but not particularly warm. I had emailed ahead about a special occasion and was told a note would be added, but nothing was acknowledged at check-in or during the stay. Information about facilities (like the pool) was also unclear. Overall, this is a very pretty hotel with lots of style, but a few practical issues and lapses in service meant it didn’t fully live up to expectations.

This is a super hotel right in the heart of Malaga. The hotel is beautiful, and as a restored palace has a great feeling. Rooms are large and well-appointed. The location is right in the heart of Malaga, and the all the sites within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended.

A beautiful boutique hotel right in the middle of old town. A few minutes away from most of the major attractions. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing, definitely will come back next time we are in Malaga

My only comment is the shower drain was very slow to drain but otherwise excellent hotel.

The property was in a prime location with walking distance to many main attractions in the city. The hotel was kept in top tier shape. The staff ensured all of our needs were filled and there was never a time where we were disappointed with the hotel
