Very good central location near the Centraal train Station. Steep set of stairs going up to the second floor so be aware if you have heavy luggage. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was some noise from the music playing downstairs at Harry’s restaurant so earplugs maybe necessary.

Velvet B&B in Amsterdam was absolutely spectacular. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and actually looked to come back in August but it is fully booked! It is the perfect location right in the heart of the city centre and a 5 minute walk from Centraal. The room its self overlooked the canal which was beautiful and was quiet on an evening. David was so friendly and kind to us. We would recommend anyone to stay here!

Having stayed in Amsterdam a few times before, this was easily my favourite of the places I’ve stayed. Great central location, surprisingly spacious room, a warm and gracious host who will greet you when you arrive. On top of that, the bed was extremely comfy, with the room feeling more homely than you would expect from typical city hotels. Top stay!

The room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Location is 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal station so perfect location to easily arrive to. The Main Street is a few minutes walk and dam square less than 10 minutes. The communication was excellent throughout.

Wonderful stay at this house just steps from Centraal Station (super easy by train from the airport) and right in the middle of city centre Amsterdam. Every touch included to make you feel at home while exploring the city. Roomy and comfortable, warm welcome and easy to work with David. New tech laundry just around the corner along with oodles of food choices and major tourist sites. Quiet, super walkable, right on a canal with great people/boat watching right out the door.

Very well located and easy to get to walking from the Central train station. Very clean but its really a guesthouse not a hotel. At an older age climbing “dutch” stairs with luggage can be tricky. Definitely recommended.

Property located near train station, DAM square, and many restaurants and tourist attractions. Host David is very helpful and made our stay comfortable.

Excellent location- room was exactly what we were looking for, kettle for coffee/tea. Very close to station and walkable to cruise terminal also. A little attention required on the overhead light.

The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay!
