My room, number 335, was so old. It smelled of damp. It was raining heavily that night, and the roof was leaking through the false ceiling into the shower area. The front door was swollen and didn't close properly.

Canella hotel was very outdaded bed feels like. Hard concrete. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was terrible. For the price its not worth it. I would not recommend canella hotel to my friends.

Rooms are spacious and you are right on the beach with the restaurant on the beach as well. Extending my stay for at least two more nights.

Beach at hotel was not like in the photos… it was filled with sea weads and water was brown The air conditioning was pooring a septic smell is if it was filled with corrupted water… The bathroom door would not close and the shower glass door was missing

It’s ok for short stay

Typical beach hotel and as expected. Front desk very friendly, location awesome. One night stay near airport was perfect. Lots of nice restaurants and restaurant hotel and bar was good.

Staff spoke limited English and not very friendly except Livio he was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly and spoke English and many languages. He greeted everyone there. The property is run down, food mediocre and very limited. It’s a 30 minute taxi ride to the port or airport. The rooms are very noisy. Bring earplugs.

Really rundown. The beach and pool were nice, which is why they can charge what they do, but the rest of the hotel was in bad shape and the food was a sorry affair. So glad we were there one night only until we could get into our other hotel. It would have ruined our vacation if we’d had to spend the entire trip there

Reception was helpful booking taxi to airport.

The hotel is placed right on the beach with lovely views from all rooms. The bedroom was large clean and comfortable with an outside dining area on the balcony. There was also a fridge, microwave, everything if you wanted to self cater. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and a lovely view of the sandy beach. The restaurant provided a set evening meal selection which changed each night. This was not included in the price but was very good and reasonable. There is a very small food shop near the foyer and it has a very very limited selection of food. The hotel has a swimming pool with sunloungers. All areas are kept clean and tidy inside and out, including the beach area which belongs to the hotel. A really relaxing place.
