We had a flooded shower room. Felt bad about the couple below us, it was dripping water down to their room. However the staff was helpful to come quickly to fix the issue.

We loved our room at Hotel Hafnia. We were in the annex building. We did have to carry luggage a bit to get there, but the room was very nice and shower pressure was good. Our daughter slept in the loft area. Highly recommended. A bit of noise at night but overall great!

Brilliant stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. We had tea & coffee making facilities and a smeg fridge in our room. Shower was excellent with lovely warm underfloor heating. Breakfast was a huge choice. The hotel was very central and quiet. We stayed for new year and had dinner on the very top floor which had panoramic views of the spectacular firework display. The staff at this hotel are brilliant, so friendly warm and welcoming, very willing to above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. We were treated like royalty during our stay.

The property is excellent in many ways. However, the staff are exceptional. Our flight out of the Faroe Islands was cancelled and the person at the Lobby went out of their way to arrange for the airline to pay for an extra night at the Hafnia (which was much better for us), arrange for three free meals at the hotel, and then even called our taxis to reschedule pick up for the next day. And even though check in is normally after 3 PM, the person was able to get us into our rooms right away for the extra night so that we could relax. We never asked for any of this, they just took the initiative and made it happen. It definitely took the sting out of having our flights cancelled. My only recommendation is that they have at least a small menu available for hotel guest late into the evening (especially on Fridays and Saturdays). Also, there are a lot more places open late on Saturdays in the areas than the hotel is aware of, so perhaps they could keep a more up to date record of these where you can eat "after hours."

Quiet, dark blackout curtains to keep out the long light nights and very nice complimentary touches like the free wine per day and breakfast.

They had an issue with the water that we could not use the sink water and then offered water bottles but made us pay for them.

The room was dusty, but after we spilled some bread crumbs it was perfectly clean. The service was truly excellent. The wine hour was one the highlights in the day.

The place was just fine and met our needs. Only issue for us was the room was a bit tight, and our window opened to a backstreet where we could hear folks talking as they walked bye.

The cottage is modern, beautiful and clean. The living room is spacious and well equipped with kitchen facilities. The attic with beds has a very low ceiling and so one needs to be careful with not getting bumped on the head. The stairs to the attic is very narrow. We requested for sleep arrangements but was not entertained and would have appreciated an explanation. Overall, it is a nice stay!
