Excellent hotel. Very good service

Really a disappointment for the historical record of this property. Staff not trained and not educated!!!

Not a great hotel, had issues from pickup to checkout. I ordered a car via the hotel for airport pickup. The car was dirty and had mosquitos Upon check in it took 30mins to get room key. Room was clean but dark, not enough light. No hot water, Aircon was not working and shower was leaking. Call maintaince, they repaired shower and hot water. Aircon the lowest it would go was 23degrees. Checkout, Printing invoice, agent advised they would email the invoice. Coming to a week still waiting on invoice. Have sent message via hotels.com and direct email no responce. I would not recommend this hotel

Friendly service, lovely breakfast buffet, great facilities (pool, restaurants, spa, in-house movie theatre). Would definitely stay again!

Really nice for Abidjan! Need to vastly improve the checkin and checkout process. Too cumbersome.

Lots of options and very nice place!

Reception staff not to the level of a 5 stars hotel. Left my room a 10 am for all the rest of the day. It was not cleaned when I returned Otherwise nice hotel. Good breakfast

Beautiful Hotel and grounds. Felt safe. The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were comfy. I would stay here every time I visit Abidjan.

Very pleasant one night business trip.

Excellent property, with plenty of space, pool, and grounds. Staff are generally quite helpful — and certain several particularly so, beyond what could reasonably be expected — though things can sometimes take longer than anticipated. Regular maintenance is clearly conducted. Gym could do with more updated machinery but still quite good.

Hotel ivoire used to be the beacon of Abidjan. While still ok, there are things you do no expect in a property like this : hot water a couple hours a day only, slimy pool bottom and milky water, ladies of the night invading the bar areas after 8pm are among the disappointments. On the other hand, the personal is extremely attentive, helpful and nice.

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. I booked and paid for Sofitel. They put me in what the call The Towers. Elevators did not work. Stuck in one working elevator during stay. Staff extremely rude. If you don’t speak French, no one cares about you. Housekeeping was a daily nightmare. Room service was awful. Spoke to management who said they’ll move me to main hotel. It never happened. Worst hotel experience ever.

If you expect guest to adhere to a check out time, you should adhere to a check-in time. It was very unpleasant to get stuck in the elevator and be forced to take the stairs. Housekeeping never properly replaced items in the room. Laundry lost my items. Overall at the price point, I was disappointed.

My TV & plugs in the room did not work. Despite mentioning this to reception, they did nothing. Poor service quality- room service very lenghthy. I was told we do not care of service e elle de as hôtel is always full. I will not stay there again for 3 night at GBP 1,200. Really poor

Difficult at start bu very nice later. My suit was still not ready at past 9:30 p.m.

The property is great and easy to access from anywhere in Abidjan. Also the cleanness is top notch!

Everything was ok until the last day when i wanted to connect a different laptop to the hotel network for an emergency task around 6am. After numerous calls to the front desk, i was finally told the technical staff donest arrive until 8am. How does a hotel of this magnitude not have on call helpdesk, knowing guests come from different time zone? Anyway, i had to check out before they arrive and connect elsewhere.

Service was professional and friendly.

From Hotel Ivoire to Sofitel, African hospitality and European refinement. I was pleasantly surprised by the new design and menus on the cards. But especially the discreet and benevolent staff.
